All these ridiculously designed suits are becoming annoying. I only need one Iron Man, ok? Thnx, bai. :)

You're just jealous because Batman only had one good costume in Nolan's Batrilogy. :rotfl

I'm out.

After seeing all these designs, I'm thinking that the IM3 Tony Stark setup is the best way to show off Mark 42. It's just not cool enough visually to get two helpings of it.

Anyone else notice this on HT's website?

"Are you expecting a multitude of BRAND NEW armor suits in the upcoming Iron Man 3 movie? Hot Toys’ Power Pose Series (PPS) will bring you with a collection of all the BRAND NEW armors appeared in the Iron Man 3 movie very soon. Collect them all and enjoy the Power Pose Series together with the Movie Masterpiece Series and Diorama Series!"

That might just mean the main suits (iron patriot, stark's main suit, etc) though.

I'm confused. So HT has a Power Pose series, a Movie Masterpiece series, a Diorama series and a Diecast series? And they're all different characters in the same scale? Whaaaaaaat? :lol

... and Iron Man is dominating all of them. The hills, run for them!:horror

Arc reactor in the suit.

That was a problem I had with Iron Man 2. They stuck a reactor in the MK2 but it was a flimsy retcon.

I don't believe Tony went back and added stuff onto the older suits. Tony was running the MK3 off his first gen arc reactor at the end of Iron Man. He ran that reactor nearly out of juice fighting Iron Monger.

He probably kept the older suits like most people would keep an old sketchbook of ideas for reference. "How did I solve this design challenge back then?"

The newer suits I could see having a redundant arc reactor, but not the one Rhodey took.

It makes sense to me. He's always tweeking and going way over what is strictly necessary. Considering how close he came to have no backup reactors at the end of the first movie, I'd say he obsessively overcompensated by the time the second one came around. Just like he's going ape**** now with the sheer amount of suits lol.

I always love that phrase when it comes to toy/collectible companies....:thud:

Heartbreaker is awesome.

Most of the others are stupid, or at best not that interesting. But like already mentioned, most will see a few seconds of screen time, so all the suits don't bug me. Until a figure I want gets delayed because Hot Toys is rushing to get Shotgun to market.
