It is a great looking piece, but not for me. With Hell Boy II PF coming out at the same time as this, and possibly other things as well, I can't pick this up. I'll be more than happy to see pics of it in your guys collections though.

Seriously, if I could only pick one piece from the SDCC, it would be this. I don't care if the ES for the Excl. is 10000, it's a keeper. I have NEVER had this much anticipation for a piece, not even for Doom PF. What's really funny is I've never read one comic about him, don't know s#!t about him...don't care either.

For two years at 20 million it seems like a lousy idea, or is it? They do have the cap space for him and this will make their team better.. albeit, not a guarantee.

What's the point of buying a few pieces that make you a team that barely gets in, when you can go for a player who can be that piece of the puzzle which sends you furthest into playoffs since 1994 when they made the Cup Final.

Having said that, Sundin hasn't seen a ton of post season action outside of the first round in TO either.

Back on topic, that Iron Spider-Man comiquette is an extraordinary looking piece. Give me a day or two to think about it. SideShow should hire you for more than just your photography skills. You're a good salesman.

Sundin does not equal playoffs. Never was and never will be a one man show that can put a team over the top. I thought he had a pretty good supporting cast in TO and they still couldn't do it. In Vancouver, all he'll have is Luongo and last time I checked, he's not a winger. The Sedin's will make them a one line team and IF they make the playoffs would be completely shut down. Vancouver is hurting for the next few years.

I know hockey as well as I know statues, order this thing already before you get further down the wait list.

Yes, but outside of Henrik Sedin they lack a real true centerman capable of playing a top six role. I mean Kyle Wellwood could be that guy, but his condition and shape doesn't even come close to his skillset. Trust me I know my hockey too. I agree, Sundin doesn't = playoffs, but he will be better than anything else out there and if they have the cap room.. why not? They also have a shot at Antione Vermette, who is a great young player on the rise, and could be had for 1/4 the cost of a Sundin, a player who is on the decline. I hear it maybe Kevin Bieksa that may go to Ottawa in exchange for Vermette.

Fine, I'll get on the waitlist. Can't believe I am falling pray to your every whim so far. lol
