Most of their stuff are a few bucks less, except for exclusives. Not this much less, though.

Ahh, but Thor was created/added to the marvel universe primarily to be a worthy adversary to the wonderful Green Goliath! Which makes him close enough to the hulk to be freakin awesome!

BBTS in general sells for higher then most...Look at the new HT Iron Man figure there selling it for $199,other places sell it for $149.

Right, but as a counterpoint, their SS 1/6 and statues are a few bucks cheaper. It all has to do with where they get them from and how much it costs them to get it.

yeah.. the difference between $189 and $299 almost make the EX not worth it.
Here's few shots I took...
Cool statue, but I can't afford to spend $300 on all the statues from properties that I *like* let alone forgettable (IMO) Marvel footnotes like the "Civil War" miniseries. Are there that many Civil War fans? This seems like another Negative Spidey PF but without the insanely low ES.

The only thing I would worry about is the paint problems. Sideshow will work with you for a few paint smudges. BBTS is a little less cooperative about paint app issues and the like and will only refund you or replace the statue if there is major damage.

just got an e-mail from bbts.....
Hi - we recently listed this item using information Sideshow emailed to all their wholesale accounts over the weekend. We have just discovered that the information they sent us was incorrect. Their pricing showed a $199.99 MSRP on the email, The actual MSRP is $289.99. I apologize that we did not check thier website against the offer that was sent out, but this sort of error has not happened with them before. We will need to adjust our sale price from $189.99 to $279.99. If you need to cancel your preorder, feel free to do so, and sorry again for Sideshow's error.
