Well I just got a reply back from SS..... They requested pics of the scratches on mine. I'm not angry at all really. It's pretty minor stuff, but I want something flawless

Just opened up my exclusive....all i got to say is damn, i feel sorry for whoever canceled this. This one's going down in the history books guys. it's impressive and masterfully done.

i don't think the back in black spidey will top this one. Iron Man's helmet, Caps shield, and the beautiful red make this really stand out.
I think it will. Has some of spidey's classic villains on the base and the black/white suit has always been one of everyone's favorite designs.
The cap shield and iron man helmet on this base is a bit overdone imo.
Even though I love this piece, I'll have to agree with you on this one. Cap's shield is BUSTED UP!!!! I mean, sure it coulda had some dents and scratches. But DAAAAAANG man! That thing looks like it was made of straw or cardboard! But it still adds to the overall "feel" of the them and story very nicely

i knew you'd find one, way to go you'll love it.
as for the back in black vs iron spidey both are going to look superb on display beside each other. my only concern is the tenticals may look out of place on iron spidey when posed beside BIB.
talk about the ultimate spidey pairing though, iron spidey with iron man and cap, along with BIB spidey doc oct, green goblin and scorpion.
i'm totally breathless.

You and me both! I just sent in my pictures to SS for a replacement. I had a small chip on the knuckle, that honestly, I'm even reluctant to send back (for fear I'll get one in worse condition.) But worst case scenario, (if replacements are gone) I get a refund. As long as I get one within the next few months, I think I'll be safe before the price skyrockets. I remember all of the hype behind Thor and watched that one fall, so I think I have some time.

I don't think the price will go like $200-300 higher over retail any time soon? Thor is a masterpiece and he really dosen't fetch that much. But... he dosen't have the Spider-man fan backing.
I am gonna buy a regular iron spidey and try to find someone to chrome the gold parts, like it should have been done. Unless Bowen comes out with a Iron Spider man?

Yeah that's my biggest fear. Getting something much worse.

I swear Sideshow hates me...first the Iron Man bust fiasco now this...divot in the knee, paint rubs on the leg and red splotches on the gold.
This was supposed to be "inspected" before shipping too.

Ewwww. That sucks Natrix...... But dang, it seems like quite a few here are getting replacements..... Hmmmmm. Man, and these were supposed to be inspected?? I hope we don't see a BUNCH of these issue surface
