Really hope in the end everyone ends up happy with Cap. I did get lucky again today (after waiting all day for the truck...
). But it was worth it. Re Cap #2 - well, another beautiful piece and for all practical purposes, flawless. The worst I can say is there is a sort of less-than-a-hair-width streak of glue right in the A that I couldn't possibly see if I hadn't been taking pictures. On one knee a small patch where the paint is the tiniest bit pooled.
Consistent - this Cap #2 might have a bit more weathering than the other. And that's it. And there is the faintest paint whiff from being in a hot truck all day which is already gone. It wasn't bad anyway - not like the eye-watering fumes from cheap furniture
.
So overall the worst things I've had with this line is an almost invisible water spot on a WS, a bit of eye line thickness on the same, and BP's claws didn't line up perfectly in the scratches (I think I can fix that).
Don't know what else to say since I've been raving over these pieces
but d@mn they are gorgeous and this is a stunning Cap
. And for those waiting I really hope you end up impressed (and grab Cap before he's gone!)
Cell phone pics (these pieces deserve better, WHENEVER I can get the camera out)

It's like having this moment frozen in time on the shelf from a stellar film.
