All right I'm rolling the dice for the third time. My third attempt at getting a statue I'm happy with should be here at the end of the week.

I'll post it as soon as I get it.

It's the name of the game. If I didn't love the piece so much I wouldn't have tried again. But I really want him to be a centerpiece for my set up. I also want all the movie 1/4 Caps that I can get.

Truthfully I'm not too sure I even consider mine an issue.

Only reason I brought it up was in regards to points raised by Fastball Special.

But as I received three statues yesterday I haven't really had the chance to inspect all the pieces I received that closely.

Probably won't until the weekend.

It's the name of the game. If I didn't love the piece so much I wouldn't have tried again. But I really want him to be a centerpiece for my set up. I also want all the movie 1/4 Caps that I can get.

Just curious, but for the pieces you received before the peg fell out, was your issue similar to the one I explained?

That is, was the entire right foot floating or only one side like mine, so that the foot at least was still resting on the base?

The first one I had the peg got lodged in the hole and I couldn't take it out without risking damage to it. But the foot touched a little.

My second one the peg came out and I could get it out of the base but I couldn't get his foot to be flush. Also the base was wobbly.

I know it's a hit or miss with statues a lot of the time but for me one of the biggest issues I have is when a foot isn't flush with a base. I could have lived with the peg issue if his foot was flush on the base.

Yea all my pads were different sizes. And I could replace them of course but I just think if I pay $600 for something I shouldn't have to make at home modifications. That's just me though.

For now mine are hiding out in a spare bedroom but I intend to have a room for these and my Hot Toys in the next year to year and half. Fingers crossed.

#006 arrived today. Absolutely gorgeous.

Ant man's fingers arrived broken off. Emailed Sideshow for a replacement.

Congrats! Maybe Cap will just settle flush over time, too. Re IM who knows, maybe it's a smart strategy to sort of tie the release to the rumored Infinity War trailer that supposedly will be shown with Thor Ragnarok. Or maybe the "car paint" and LEDs need more time.

Not surprising. It's a really great sculpt and super low ES. Plus a lot more affordable than the AoU version. This line might turn out to be a sleeper hit for movie fans.

Kinda surreal finally having a group of the figs in. Even tho you can return stuff and IS, Sideshow, and Pop were responsive when I dealt with them. Not many things I buy I think are totally worth the money.

Thanks Sassafras! I'm hopeful too! I loved this statue from the first time I saw him and his shelf is picked out still waiting ! I'll post photos when he arrives Friday.

I'm not too sure I would classify this line as a sleeper hit, as it wasn't that much of a surprise that Iron Studios could produce pieces of this quality.

Only that after the Spidey issues which people 'still' mention, some people were reluctant to order.

Now the first AOU Cap imo from Iron Studios was a sleeper, as it and its Mark 43 companion piece were them finally making a statement to the community.

Unfortunately due to the relatively low edition size, this piece isn't going to get into many people's hands, but then going by this board, not too many people collect Movie pieces (other than Star Wars of course) when compared to those who collect comic based items.

Not sure if this is correct or it's just a quantity limit per order, but they probably have at least 10 pieces left.

Got my Cap in today and it's another fantastic piece from this series. Mine is flawless as I could ask for, no peg issues here either. The portrait is crazy good, so is the paint app on it. I'm really impressed with the quality of Ant-Man too I grabbed a few photos, the quality isn't great, I was losing the light.

So you had a good experience dealing with Popcultcha? They and Secret Compass are the only places I've found the others available. I'm kinda worried about ordering from out of the country.
