Out of curiosity, are there any other Iron Studios statues at the show? Any non-Sideshow produced statues at all? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they've ever been shy about displaying a product that is expected to be delayed. Possible, instead, that the statue is nearly sold out, so they didn't find it necessary to use valuable show space to market it?

THey have a few IS pieces there.. but nothing SW related ..neither their 1/10 line. so I am not concerned

I am so glad my Pax are 39" wide. I've already decided my Prime and Megatron will have to go on square pedestal type shelves and Shockwave I'm screwed lol no way to balance this just yet.

I have a 3 tier Pax just for all of my Vader stuff. I better stop buying stuff or start selling stuff.

Yeah, I'm starting to sell something when I get something new. Space is OK for now, but at some point it starts looking cluttered. I recently sold off the Mythos statues, except for Fett. 1/5 scale always bugged me anyway. Can't wait to add this Vader to the collection!

I'm really surprised this thing is still available to pre order. I'm glad it is though. Seeing how this turns out might help the difficult decision I have between ordering and saving the money for the Alien and Predator statues we're expecting...

Im sure it will sell out once people get it... and then it will be in high demand. Its still best looking vader and it will top the SSC vader with ease if the vader looks like SSC has it on their table.

I love this statue but still hesitating on IS QC. Spider-man was a disaster. Beautiful piece but plastic garbage.

The Sideshow Vader is fantastic as well and personally I prefer it to the IS in terms of aesthetics.

I've got a feeling that years from now people will still bring up that Spider-Man piece, as a reason why they're hesitating to buy Iron Studios.

Sorry but SS PF is trash and looks completely inaccurate. While this pose may be too extreme, it will have a much bigger presence than SS.

I'm not an sort of expert on accuracy but how is the PF "completely inaccurate" and conversely, how is the IS piece accurate? Because the PF doesn't fit in your detolf doesn't mean it's trash. I don't see how anything that is this majestic could be called trash. lol

Its not trash..its still a crafted item.. accuracy.. not sure.. (IS is a replica and they used patterns from movie to make this as accurate as possible)
...but this PF looks awful in person and only good in just in a certain angle. I had him and had to sell right away.

It is no secret that SS doesn't go for accuracy but rather "idealized" versions of popular characters. For most SW fans, this is not okay as we happen to be a very discerning bunch. The helmet alone on this PF is not that accurate and his overall outfit is taken from different films.

I agree it's premature to judge the IS piece as it has not shipped yet. But the test video of his chest plate lighting up was spot on and everything around it was directly from ESB. While some say the pose wasn't in the movie, it is definitely a scene that could have taken place off-screen as he plowed through the rebel base.
