Which Pax are you guys talking about? Tried looking at the ikea website and all I see is wardrobes.

Yeah it's the Pax wardrobe system. I have the large one which is ~38" wide and ~23" deep I think. Here are a few pics of what they can hold

I can easily get 3 Star Wars PF in one space. The only thing you need to do is reinforce the 38" shelves with metal brackets, but otherwise they are real easy to set up. I also have custom plexiglass doors to keep most of the dust out

Did it come with the glass?

There's no doors for the Pax, that has to be custom ordered.

Great photos. The great thing about the Pax is that you can easily display 1/3 and busts etc. inside a cabinet. With every piece now it seems statues are getting larger and larger so that's a smart choice if you're going that way with your collection.

No, those are custom plexiglass doors. Here's a link to the DIY I followed, it's excellent and relatively simple to do.

Thank you! I've built 8 of these display cabinets so far and have room for 2 more if needed. The flexibility with the Pax is great and you can adjust the height as needed.

I'm not an sort of expert on accuracy but how is the PF "completely inaccurate" and conversely, how is the IS piece accurate? Because the PF doesn't fit in your detolf doesn't mean it's trash. ;) I don't see how anything that is this majestic could be called trash. lol

I owned the SSC piece and just could not get into it.. I actually sold it before I ever thought about getting this.. I was willing to go without a Vader.

Personally I even like the original PF more. I just could not get into the pose on this piece and the fact he was looking up.

Its not a bad statue by any means.. Just not the statue for me. I would never call it trash but I think its one of SSC misfires..

As of now the Mythos Vader is SSC best Vader IMO. But the 1/5 scale made him expendable to me.

Hoping this IS piece meets my 1/4 scale Vader needs.

Wow! Thats a great display aa909. Those 1/3 fit in very nicely too. Thanks for the info! :clap

no worries. you can easily fit 2 1/3 statues in each space as long as you buy the 38" width Pax. Follow the DIY and it's really a piece of cake. Good Luck!

Edit: It's actually 39" wide, the inner space is 38"

Agree 100% I love the Mythos Vader, especially the unmasked portrait looking at the helmet in hand. Amazing in every way but unfortunately it's 1/5 scale...

Those are the exact same shelves I have been posting that I have in white. They are super cheap and hold a ton. I have 4 as well as 2 smaller versions for smaller things. I'd post them but I am at work on the computer lol

I have yet to screw them together and put doors. Not sure I want them clanging when I walk by upstairs. My Detolfs do that a little up there.

Oh yeah the delay pisses me off. Totally annoying.

Delays no longer phase me. LOL!
It gets here when it gets here.
In the meantime fellas, go out and have a few drinks, enjoy some sports, and watch the jello jiggling. :duff :D

I used the KOMPLEMENT Shelves they are 3/4 and I am interested in those shelf braces but the will look like poop I think with just being screwed on. I have the droop shelves now lol. I think the brace will stop that immediately though but they can't go in the back since it sits in those pegs you can't move it forward at all. I guess I will stop at HD on the way home and see whats up. Same light party behind mine but I actually did it all on the top of the shelves where you can't see them.

I agree Cent but I still get annoyed.
