I had this ordered from a different supplier in Brazil . I was asking for photos of my piece before shipping since there have been so many issues or refund my deposit. They never sent a photo, I just had a refunded Paypal payment with an apology on the quality of the statues. They lot they received must of been bad if they couldn't find one worth trying to photograph and email. Guess I'll just wait for SS to release something.

Have you talked to them about why they never sent a picture? Sounds strange they'd just refund you without an explanation... I know there has been a lot of mixed emotions about this piece, some good and some bad. Its not really the best start for a new company and the effects of this may have an impact on their upcoming releases, notably their MK42 LSF. However, I received mine a week ago and it actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Yes, the paint app was sloppy and the colour scheme was way off from the prototype but the lines seemed to be pretty good and the actual pose and light up features are what saves this piece in my opinion. If I could change one thing about this statue other than the fore mentioned issues, it would have to be the price. I purchased mine for 50% less than the retail price and that was the only reason why I purchased it otherwise I would have also waited for Sideshow to release theirs. I think everyone who has this in their collection would agree that the price tag is way too much for a piece that has some noticeable flaws. If you don't mind the wait, then Sideshow would be your best bet as they will be releasing their version of the MK42 sometime this year I'd imagine. The jest I took away from their email was that they have hade a lot of complaints and issues. If they had sold all of their statues that were decent then there really wasn't anything to really show me. Plus they probably didn't want to ship to me in the US only to have me possibly return it and have them incur additional costs.

Ah, I see. So what will you do now? Will you wait for Sideshows version of the MK42?

not really happy with this, they want me to ship it back if i need a replacement, there is no way I spend more then $20 shipping fee to ship it back, and they offer me 20% parcel refund. I swear I will never order IRON STUDIO's stuff !!

Just received this piece. As others' comments, sculpt is ok, but painting bad especially lining and silver color. But look cool from distance.
Going to ask repaint commission job later.

Should be completed in abt 2 weeks Chan...due to all the detailing of the MK42 armour, this repaint was way out of my league and needed the skill of a professional...a good friend has kindly accepted the challenge and I'm confident he'll do a great job...havent discussed a price yet but I'm sure it won't be anything too astronimical...maybe around the $150 mark I reckon
