I hope so too :) my display is currently being built in Miami and so it needs to get to me here in London with hopefully not a scratch plus my display will feature a crazy light up feature which is also a massive risk to consider when shipping internationally :(

That sounds very impressive, especially having a display specially fabricated in Miami. Do you have to provide them with working drawings or Blueprints?

Yea, we work together in collaboration via Facebook and exchange designs and ideas to get the display as movie accurate as we can with the resources we have at hand. I've seen the background part and have to say it's quite impressive considering the size of it :) currently we are working on the side laterals which will be optional for display purposes :)

Hi guys,
I have a lil question :
A fellow german collector (he's not registered here yet) received his Mark VII a few days ago and he noticed a gap between the shoulder and the ammo pack.
He's a bit worried if this is normal or a quality issue, could you please help and check if yours looks the same?He would appreciate it very much.
I attached two pics from him so you know what i'm talking about.

Thanks in advance!

Something's wrong. When seated correctly the top of the ammo pack should not even come close to his ear lobe. You are too high by at least an inch.

I didn't put mine together yet as the heel broke off due to the metal peg in the foot not going into the base properly. Hopefully Monday when SS opens they'll replace it. They're only 30 minutes from me so hopefully I'll take it there Wednesday.

Okay I just put the top half together, and there is nothing that looks like a huge gap. There is a gap but it seems to fit the way it should. Maybe your friend has the lower ammo pack on wrong and it's pushing the top ammo pack up?

Very very nice round pedestal... Your eye is drawnn to it right away.

spawn10459 & Y4NK33 PL4N3T banned. Hmmm...

Were they banned because they dared to speak the truth about Sideshow's horrible spiral into sub-par product territory? If so, I guess my head might be on the chopping block soon then. :horror

These forums being so close to Sideshow has some great advantages, but there is a cost...
