interested to see SS's shipwreck
not a big fan, hoping they can turn me

I think they'll incorporate some of the 1990s redesign. All they'd need was an alternate portrait with the knit cap and a blue sweater to let people choose between the traditional ARAH Sailor look and the Navy SEAL version.

Wonder if Polly will be the first Joe pet to be packaged with a figure rather than part of an environment.

Shipwreck is an easy kit bash though. I'm glad they passed on him, for now, and hopefully we will see some chicks...although they in no way, shape, or form are allowed to remind me of a Barbie or Ill stop collecting on the spot.

edit:
reread the post. So they are doing Shipwreck? Well I suppose if SSC releases more joes then it's a good thing.

At the very least they better offer an option to do both. That thing you have in your post is an insta-pass and looks more like a rejected concept for the Adventure Team than the Shipwreck it's trying to be. :monkey1

So we now know the next is Snake-Eyes v.2, but when will we see a new ORIGINAL figure????

Additionally, the inclusion of Timber definitely increases the odds that SS could do a Mutt & Junkyard set, right?

I'm still wanting Major Bludd, Recondo and Snowjob, but Mutt would be a welcome addition.

Not counting a potential variant release for SDCC, Destro at SDCC unless sideshow blows their wad pre-con and announces him beforehand. They've continually hinted at the female Pro being ready and Scarlett debuting it, but I'll believe that when I see it.

Thanks for bumping this, I was about to myself.

For the next original "Joe", my obvious wants are Low-Light, Tunnel Rat, Roadblock and Snow Job...but my "out of left field" wish (been thinking about this recently) is Mainframe with a Toughbook laptop...and a scale Reaper drone.

:nono Don't give them any ideas. Personally, I'd prefer a bit of a separation between $199.99 figures, thank you very much. :lol

OMG a scale reaper would be sick!!!!!

I still think the easiest Joe accessory would be the JUMP Jetpack, with the CLAW flying wing coming in second, but not sure a 1:6 figure could stand with a CLAW on his back, without a figure stand...

the latest Sideshow interview said we were going to see Baroness mid 2012 (which will likely be SDCC)

I hope Sideshow does blow their wad on Destro soon, because I am tired of waiting

I am guessing when they get around to Mutt and junkyard in 2015-2020, he'll be 299.99

Maybe the average price hovers around $135 like it is for CG and the RnR...or maybe it bumps up to $140-$150...

Would an increase in pricing change anyone's request for figures? Top tier characters like Destro and Scarlett are must haves, but what about lower tier characters? Will price increases drive lower tier characters out of the line?
