Well, now your argument is entirely different isn't it? First it was "the clothing is boring". Now it's "I don't like the character."

Well some people don't like Snake Eyes...what can I tell you, that's personal preference. But your opinion probably doesn't match most Joe fans.

Well, with MANDO recklessly dismissing the "character design is boring" point, it seemed reasonable to provide an additional counter, and as I pointed out, I'm merely using myself as an example. ;)

Action Force Stalker. HUGE rivalry.
To be fair, Snake Eyes was first. :p

Gung-Ho next announced Joe member. No exceptions.

Actually, instead of Flash, how about Ace? He'd provide a great excuse to make this:

I really hope they dont make Ace with that helmet.
Why not? Dragon, BBI and Hot Toys have all made multiple pilot figures with the HGU 55/p helmet. The F-35 HMDS helmet would be something new that hadn't been seen before in 1/6th, like the Viper's Magpul rifle or what have you, and would increase the profile of the line amongst 1/6th collectors.

Of course, odds are good that the next Joe will be another ground-pounder wearing SOLAG gloves and wielding some variant of the XCR, so you probably needn't worry. ;)

Hardy har har Nam. :nono

But see, that's just it. Clearly you're completely detached from the character if you think he's boring. You don't like him, fine. But yourself as an example and acting like the 99% when you clearly represent the 1% is sillier than MANDO dismissing a character design that is just as crucial to Shipwreck, as the ninja garb is to Storm Shadow.

You mean Pilot Hal Jordan from Green Lantern? He belongs in the DC boards, not here in the Joe boards. :lecture:lecture:lecture

Because is damn ugly thats why.

Clearly, you're completely attached to the character if you think he's interesting. :p

Not really. Hasbro doesn't produce multiple Shipwreck figures every year, but Storm Shadow is another story entirely (to say nothing of Snake Eyes). I realise that the dynamic isn't quite the same in the adult collector market, but then again I can't say I can remember seeing more than a couple of Shipwreck kitbashes on One Sixth Warriors over the last seven or so years, as opposed to I don't know how many Snake Eyes, Storm Shadows, Beachheads, etc.

You mean Pilot Hal Jordan from Green Lantern?
No, actually. ;)

Jester is definitely the 1%

Shipwreck would sell just as good,if not better than every other Joe that has been made in this line..

I am not a Huge Shipwreck fan,but he was in my '85 collection and he was pretty important and I remember how quick I grabbed his figure off the peg when I saw him.

I think the only pilot suit that would really match up with Ace is something like the U2/SR-71/Space Shuttle pressure suit but in white. The suit from the Red Bull Stratos freefall jump would be perfect for Ace (this is without the stupid Red Bull advertisement thrown all over it):

That to me is what Ace should look like.

I agree that's one of the most requested pilot helmets in 1/6 scale and that the HGU 55 has been done to death. But it doesn't look like Ace to me. It'd be great if SSC could do that for another pilot figure though.

If Sideshow does any pilots,The 1st one I want to see is Wild Bill..

Gung Ho would be sweet, they could update his vest to one of those grenade carrying gear vests. I think Shipwreck would sell, but everytime someone mentions him I picture Shoreleave from the Venture Bros now. :thud:
