Like I said earlier, head sculpt is crucial for Shipwreck more than just about any Joe figure. If its on the level of the RnR exclusive then it will sell. Come out closer to the regular RnR and maybe not. They need to make the higher quality sculpts standard or at the least the Ex for every main character going forward. It will be a major let down if we have to settle with Duke or Flint quality sculpts on major characters like Road Block, Scarlet, Baroness, etc.

Shipwreck always reminded me more of the Joeverse's Han Solo. One of my favorite Joe's and hope he gets the SSC treatment.

The complete lack of any reference to Tomax and Xamot in the CG's backstory can't be a good sign.

in the older QnA's, Sideshow did not rule them out when asked about them...they basically said little ways down the road.plus,RNR's new arms is a BIG step to getting sleeveless characters

so by 2015-2020 we'll have them

The Twins are too easy not to do. Assuming they go the obvious route and make the collar piece and shoulder plate reversible all the costume pieces are the exact same. All that's left are the portraits and one's merely just a quick retool of the other.

And since they do that stuff digitally, it won't be that hard to mirror.

I know but even if they're 3-5 years off why not whet our appetites with a little name dropping? I feel like Destro and Baroness were mentioned in someone's backstory ages ago and they have yet to appear, but at least we know they're coming.

I really hope that SSC didn't intend for Cherry Cobra Commander to replace the twins....

When do they usually announce the SDCC Ex. lot? I think it was King who'd suggested they could be in the mix and it'd be a good opportunity for a 2-Pack.

I'm not so sure that'd be a good time though. Most will still be hurting from all the late spring early summer blocking Sideshow's done. A $325+ in-stock 2-pack would be destined to rot in the warehouse for a spell.

I agree with the name dropping,we need more....Though, Destro's name was dropped as a late 2011 or early 2012 reveal (still waiting )

Sideshow did name drop when I asked them about Snowjob,Mutt,and Gung-ho...

Their answer was that I named 2 of their 4 favorites,then throwing in Shipwreck as the 3rd,but left a question of who would be the 4th?

I really want Mutt and Junkyard but I don't think Sideshow will do him anytime soon.

So I believe were getting soon..

Ace could be a very realistic guess since nothing has been mentioned of an air assault class...and several companies have been successful with HALO gear. Ripcord maybe???? Just pulling a Hail Mary guess here...

We never got the "Marine." I'm not sure if that was referring to an actual Marine, or an aquatic-based Joe.

I actually submitted the question through their website.Strange that it was posted on Facebook instead of their Qna page.Hmmm... maybe cause these characters are soon coming in the pipeline? Since Facebook gets more exposure..

Shipwreck would be cool...but I would not want him in either the 80's dungarees and hat nor in some overly tactical commando garb. I would like to see something based on the Navy Working Uniform. Not that exactly, but based on it.
