isnt it obvious, the pf took forever to sellout, and those busts arent selling well to begin with. No brainer, i would cancelled this too if i worked at ss, guaranteed money loser.

Which makes me wonder how long it's going to take for the IM bust to sell out with an ES of 3000...

A modern Cyclops statue or bust is a MUST MAKE piece.

Sounds logical, Why doesn't HT have this logical business sense, afterall they have put an AVP remake up for order (ahead of other fully developed figures announced beforehand) when Tracker Predator, Shadow Predator, Classic Predator and Predator 2 all haven't sold out yet

Nothing sells out HT wise now days for ages. There's definitely not a shortage of customers on HT behalf either. There definitely making 1000's & 1000's of figures for each character. Like Superman hasn't sold out yet, a few years ago a figure like that would of been sold out during PO. Scar will sell well to so it's logical for HT to put that figure out. Most of the armour & body has already been done & some can be reused for other Preds. Easy money for HT but **** them let's stick to Spiderman & not let this become a HT thread.

different business model, the sideshow busts & statues we know their edition size and how well they are selling. HT are all open edition, i am pretty certain each of those predator already sold thousands, the fact it's still available doesnt mean it didnt sell well just they continue to make them. It's a lot easier to make HT plastic dolls as it's mostly machine assembly line churn out like the $20 hasbro figures, except higher quality and the head is hand painted.

anyway it's moot for me, i stopped collecting ht long ago ever since they changed the business model to keep everything in stock and re-issue old figures at will.

Getting back on track I hope SS are making a Spidey PF. This would be an instant grail for me unless SS completely ****ed it up, which I doubt would happen.
This time next year I will have Bats, Joker, Superman, Deadpool & the new Hulk in my collection leaving just Spidey & Wolverine to complete my favourite comic book characters. I'm going to have to pay flipper prices for Wolverine but I'll be seriously lucky being able to get the rest for retail

Nothing at all ... CBG is just drinking the "LARGE ES=CRAPPY STATUE" KoolAid. ES size has NOTHING to do with the quality or beauty of a statue. It ONLY effects the resale value.

Honestly, I am in this for the art. I don't care if 0.000000001% or 0.000000009% of the worlds total population has the same statue as I do. As long as it is AWESOME.

ES doesn't bother me nearly at all, it's nice to have it limited and thus rare and thus that little bit extra special, but not a key factor at all.

Same here. As long as it doesn't affect the QC & I can get it I'm happy. I've been so excited about getting the Batman PF the ES hadn't even entered my mind. Yeah it's big but I'm cool with it

I honestly would prefer a FULLY sculpted statue ala Skaar, with the mixed media maybe being a cool webbing material
