venom is 1/4. you might be comparing venom with the spidey comiquette which is slightly bigger than 1/4 scale. the BIB comiquette & iron spidey comiquette are the true 1/4 scale.

I dont think so. If he was, he is small to be 1/4.

I got mine before and sold venom because of scale concern to spidey.

I have the Iron Spider-Man and Spider-Man Comiquette, and I've had both next to other pieces. This is true.

But SS usually says "approximately 1/4 scale". That's the truest statement. If we're looking for every piece to be spot on accurate we're fooling ourselves. Classic Iron Man Ex is a good example. He's slightly under scale compared to other 1/4s I have, but is in no way 1/5.

It's all approximations.

Just got a look at the new preview for the costume from the next Amazing Spiderman movie, and it looks VERY much like a more CLASSIC take on the costume. If that is true I could see this being a PF designed to corrispond with the release of the film in May 2014

That picture just looks like someone Photoshopped the bigger SPidey eyes on the Raimi suit. Is this an official pic from Sony?

The ASM2 costume looks like Raimi's verison with comic accurate eyes and the shinyness of the web pattern toned down. Plus, subtle differences like this series' verion of the Spidey Symbol is bigger and more curvy, and a triangular shape to the pattern on the chest. But the texture is very similar. I like it.

It does...but director Marc Webb tweeted a link to the pic. It also matches with the tease he gave a few weeks ago from his twitter with the masks' lens.

Every day of filming he's been tweeting something from the set or film in general. The costume pic is his day 15 tweet.

I also have to say one other thing Dhaval has been two for two with the Punisher and Spidey statues coming out. I think the guys who made fun should eat crow.

DHAVAL brought it up months ago that a NEW Spiderman statue and Punisher PF were coming and some people poo pooed his observations. He has been pretty on the ball with his predictions.

Oh right, gotcha. I got a bit excited then. When it comes to big name characters being revisited, I find some of the old collectors or ones who payed a premium on them not liking it. Especially back in the day when I was collecting Hot Toy figures. The good thing about Marvel comic statues though, there pretty timeless. If the new Spiderman SS is working on turns out to be a comiquette chances are it wont top the original. SS would actually do amazing just to match that statues class. On a side note I've been noticing a lot of Spiderman PF's hitting eBay. A month or so ago they were quite rare to see. Still going for top dollar though.

I like the Com better then the PF. I will wait and see what this turns out to be, and if in the end the Com is still light years ahead... Well we will see what I have to spend then

People thinking this is a PF are fooling themselves. This is way undersized to be 1/4 scale. Look at the foot in that pic...it's half the size of the first PF, not to mention the arms & legs
