Well this might be a dio.

Not if the Amazing Spiderman costume is a Classic one because you may be right. This might be a Dio, and a PF from the movie could come out and compliment it. Fans want the classic outfit... ., and if the Amazing looks just like it people will buy it... We all know that... Movie or no movie .

People thinking this is a PF are fooling themselves. This is way undersized to be 1/4 scale. Look at the foot in that pic...it's half the size of the first PF, not to mention the arms & legs

Unless it is a prototype sculpt that they do larger, but yeah like I said before you could be right

It was this shot from the Wax Works video that gave me the idea.

It shows Andy using a smaller version of a head to create a digital sculpt that I can only imagine was used to help with a bigger head for the PF. As I said just an idea, but if I am right you ALL owe me a PF....lol.

1:4 or 1:5, if it's a comicbook Spidey I'll buy it. As for the movie, shape of the eyes look better, but dude seriously needs to get ripped. Can't even see a little muscletone through his costume.

He could have been a little more muscular but he looks like a teenage high school Spidey to me, which is what he still is in ASM2. Plus despite the title ASM felt like Ultimate Spider-Man where teen Peter was traditionally slimmer. This movie Spidey just isnt an adult with years of experience so I think it's fine. But come ASM3...

Just thought I'd continue the discussion about this new Spider-Man here instead of in the older Comiquette's thread. Now that it's on SS's Facebook we can at least be fairly sure it's something coming in the next 2 years.

Since we know the JSC MJ is a comiquette, and there's at least a sketch of his Gwen playing in SS's videos, I'm betting this JSC Spider-Man is probably a Comiquette at 1/5, too.

Mods, can we change this thread name to "JSC Spider-Man" or "New Spider-Man"?

I'm really looking forward to seeing this. If it's a companion piece to the Gwen S., then I can see me getting both. If it's a standalone, even better. It's been far too long since a Spider-Man (not just Spidey-related) piece from Sideshow.

As you can see it's the same pose. If you get through the video at 1:29, you'll see the Superman body lying on the table, along with the Spiderman body being sculpted, being proportionaly the same! 1/4!

It could be the same body laying on the table, OR it could be for a different project. It is hard to tell.
