Good news,

I think this will be most probably 1/4 Scale! Why?

You can appreciate in 1:04 - 1:09 the new Superman's PF being made, this one:

As you can see it's the same pose. If you get through the video at 1:29, you'll see the Superman body lying on the table, along with the Spiderman body being sculpted, being proportionaly the same! 1/4!

This is all just speculation. Wait for them to announce it. If they say it's a PF then it's 1/4 scale. If they say it's a Com, it's 1/5 statue. It's as simple as that. My thinking is that it's a Com. They need a 1/5 Spidey to go with Hobgoblin and any other 1/5 pieces they want to release in a Spidey line. SSC can't release any other 1/5 Coms in the Spidey line if there is no 1/5 classic Spidey. However, this is all just speculation on my part.

Assuming Sideshow has any sort of organised plan for lines, characters and scale. History shows they don't - they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

This is all just speculation. Wait for them to announce it. If they say it's a PF then it's 1/4 scale. If they say it's a Com, it's 1/5 statue. It's as simple as that. My thinking is that it's a Com. They need a 1/5 Spidey to go with Hobgoblin and any other 1/5 pieces they want to release in a Spidey line. SSC can't release any other 1/5 Coms in the Spidey line if there is no 1/5 classic Spidey. However, this is all just speculation on my part.

That's what I'm thinking especially when there's already 2 1/4 Spideman's. One thing's for sure is it's definitely not a LSF

I have the Comiquette EX and it's my favorite statue. That being said I'd love a new 1/4 and would buy it.

The only reason why I hope this isn't a PF is because the pose is too similar to what already exists. It's Spidey perched on a wall...again. They couldn't have done anything new? I hope that when we do get another 1/4 it'll be a newer idea and not a pose variation of what came before.

But 1/4, 1/5, whatever, I don't see myself passing my favorite character either way, and I'm excited to see what the Ex will be. Plus this is JSC styling, it automatically makes this one different.

Also I know it'll be a while but I can't wait to see the price and ES.

I can freely admit that I am looking forward to a new 1/4 Spiderman as I would LOVE to have one in my collection. However, as the noob shine has warn off so to speak, and despite my statements to the contrary before, I HAVE come to realize just how awesome the Com looks, and I am not sure if I could be happy with anything else. Will have to wait and see

I will be honest. I could collect all of the Coms (BIB, IronSpider, CLASSIC), and be damn happy yo have them all. However in the end I just don't know if I could justify having so many statues of the same character... Even if he is my fav... lol

Something about the pose on this just looks awkward. I hope when it all comes together with the base and everything it's a winner, but as it is right now I'm not feeling it and I really love Spiderman so that’s a bummer. I'm thinking it's 1/5th with the upcoming Mary Jane comi.

Space is an issue but I'll make room for more Spider-Man. I have 2 of those 3, Iron & Classic, and the Classic Legendary Scale Bust Ex. Plus a Bowen. And I'll be getting this. NEVER ENOUGH SPIDER-MAN!!!!

I don't have any Symbiote/Black Costume from SS. It'd be nice if this new Spidey gets a Black variant...if it really is a comiquette what they did in recent years with Hulk and Angel makes a Black variant seem more likely.

The ASM2 costume looks like Raimi's verison with comic accurate eyes and the shinyness of the web pattern toned down. Plus, subtle differences like this series' verion of the Spidey Symbol is bigger and more curvy, and a triangular shape to the pattern on the chest. But the texture is very similar. I like it.

What comic accurate are you talking about? Eyes are too big. God I hate what McFarlane did to this character.
