I wish his head looked different. That's the biggest difference for ME at least between this and the previous Com. That and I honestly wish spidey was doing something a little different. maybe even hanging upside down from a lamp post or something. Still a nice piece but I think i'll probably wait it out for god knows how many more YEAAARS!!!

Well it's all about the waiting game now. Glad this piece doesn't have any fabric on it. We shouldn't have to wait TOO long for it to come out like the Batman PF and most likely the Superman PF. I already know exactly where it's gonna go.

be interesting if they make a black version. Not sure if Campbell did a black version or not. I won't buy a black version unless at least its a separate sculpt and 1/4 scale but still be interesting if they did this in black.

Man oh man... I just started collecting PFs and statues recently, but a lot of Spidey stuff was released almost 8 years ago! You guys think they'll ever revisit those in the PF lineup? And what was the community opinion of PFs like Green Goblin? I can't even find an official thread for it!

Yeah they will but when is the question. You never know SS might make a Spiderman PF for the new movie, that's probably our best chance of getting one in 1/4. It will probably be awhile till SS revisits a comic Spidey because of the new CQ but this is just me speculating

Well the thing to keep in mind is that they have done the Classic, back in Black, and Iron Spider 1/4 statues; that while they are CALLED Comiquettes NOW fall under the SSC Definiton of a PF, and those only came out in the last 5 or so years. Throw I the Carnage, Venom, and Rhino Coms and the 1/4 Com/PF Spidey line has 6 pieces in it already.

So to answer your question ... IMHO we are a few years, maybe as much as 4 or 5 before we see another 1/4 Classic Spiderman. This J Scott Line may have even pushed it further away. I was hoping this NEW Com would do it for me, but I just am not feeling it right now. Now that is not saying we might not get surprised by an Amazing Spiderman 2 PF, but if you want a comic based one it will probably be awhile.

I like that idea a lot! Especially in this size, it wouldn't take up too much space to have both back to back.

I don't know. There is a chance SSC could release another 1/4 Spidey in the near future.. I only say this because they seem to be releasing a new 1/4 scale Hulk every 6 weeks or so

Yeah that is a good point plus there got a Doom LSF coming as well as a PF.

The subtle details like the folds in the costume are a nice touch. Much the same with the Deadpool PF. Just hope that paint comes as just as good.

The only Spiderman that will ever be a representation of Spiderman FOR ME, is one that's in a sarcastic stance probably making a joke. That's why I fell in love with Spiderman as a kid and why I love him now. This spiderman comes damn close to that, love his cocked eyes, so this is the spiderman for me!
