As a story it was okay.... Till you get to the very end and the rewriting of decades of Marvel history JUST to undo Peter's and MJ's wedding. Eventually a writer who loved that era will undo the whole damn thing. Joe Q will either be fired or quit, but it will get done eventually.

Not to mention the fact that the Mephistopheles basically did nothing. The whole point of a deal with the Devil is that he still screws you in some way and you know it, it's how he torments you, Spider-man not remembering anything fails in that aspect. See Johnny Blaze for deal with the Devil done right...if there is such a thing. The Whole thing just baffles me as to how they thought it was a good idea.

About Spidey being a teen, he could be a teen for this comiquette as he knew Gwen Stacey during his college years. But Spidey's been a non-teen adult since the 70s.

Either way. I always view Spidey as a smaller Hero. But I have never been huge into his comics. He is sort of like the Superman of the marvel world for me. I love it when he shows up in other peoples stories but just never got into his own title. I read a bit of him when I was younger and tied again when I was in college but he just never took off for me. Always enjoyed the cartoons and movies though (well not SM 3 or TASM )

It's a proto statue Kinger. You know we'll have to wait on the production pieces before we can make any real comments about the paint apps. I do agree that the proto paint apps do look real nice.

Of course. I hope the paint apps turn out just like the proto's. Everyone ordering can be happy with the final product then

Yeah, I can't even imagine how high the ES is gonna be on this one. This is Marvel's most recognizable character. A lot of peeps missed out on the original COM and there are a boatload of new collectors in the game now that don't want to pay the aftermarket prices for it. Not to mention there will be peeps that already have the original COM and will still be picking up this one. I expect a very high ES on this piece.
