My Jabba is coming Tues and it need a sig. Since I work that day, not sure what to do....guess I will need to call them and have them hold Jabba at their shipping center then will go pick it up.

Can't wait!

Well, I'm getting Jabba fever as I get closer to receiving mine, so as I wait, I felt like taking some pictures, so here are some shots of some of my current Jabbas in my collection, waiting for big brother to come join them.

The last 2 shots, some of you may remember me mentioning how my dad bought me some frogs from a bait and tackle shop when I was a kid for my '83 Jabba, and he's a bit beat up and his limbs all in shambles but he's still going strong, and he acts as a nice reminder of how great my parents were to me all my life and always went the extra mile to take good care of their boy, so the frogs will always carry strong meaning with me, as well as Jabba himself. Can't wait til 2/15 :)

Chicky was saying they haven't been getting very many cancellations. She said it will be quite hard to find. Hope you luck out, but you may want to start searching for it elsewhere.

POOPIE! That's crappy considering the price tag and the run number. I don't think I can afford it otherwise. :(

That looks exactly like my old cat Monty. Gotta love Maine Coons. He was pushing 22 lbs when we had to get rid of him. He didn't like the addition of my son to the family.

Dollars to donuts says the throne ends up being offered for second chance along with the Inclusive Jabba.

Seeing all those Jabba's made me remember that I have a MicroMachines version of Jabba on his throne somewhere. It's part of the ActionFleet collection I guess. I don't see it on you picture I think... Must check. Huuuuu search, dig in closet, might find it...

The '83 Kenner Jabba is still the best of all of the Kenner/Hasbro incarnations if you ask me.

The 1997 version is an utter farce. :monkey4

That Kenner Jabba sure brings back memories. It actually looks pretty well sculpted considering when it was made.

As far as sculpt accurracy, I rank 83 Kenner Jabba as the best of every 3D Jabba item on the market (Prior to SSC's and I'd still rank Kenner over GG's Jabba). As for representing the first CGI Jabba of ANH, The applause had a much more accurrate sculpt, not sure what was the thinking with the Kenner 97 (I think they were still Kenner when he came out). I still love the 97 one though, another fond memory there, I've always been such a Jabba nut, i saw his picture in a catalog, got real excited, my dad called the store for me, they had 1 left and to make sure it was mine he had them hold it and ran out after getting off the phone to get it for me, if that's not loving your child I don't know what is.

Man, either a lot of us regulars are waiting on our Jabba's or poor big guy is losing his 15 minutes of fame to TF, poor Jabba, show some love people.
