Well, I bit the bullet and put myself on the waitlist for the Throne last week. Hopefully I'll get one. Considering the number and price, I think I might get lucky. I think Jabba NEEDS to be displayed with it.

Chicky was saying they haven't been getting very many cancellations. She said it will be quite hard to find. Hope you luck out, but you may want to start searching for it elsewhere.

Considering the number of people who are getting only the throne shipped right now it seem like there are a lot of throne less Jabbas

Awaiting my fed-ex delivery today and wondering how easily (after unpacking of the throne for inspection and to drool over it:monkey5 ) will it be to repackage it back in it's original box? I have no where to display his Excellency upon arrival. THX in advance.
:r2d2line

Please disregard this post.
After receiving his royal Excellency this morning, (I felt sorry for the poor fed-ex bloke that had to lug that throne box up three flights of stairs:lol ) the unpacking was just like Christmas morning. All the goodies in the throne package!
Now what to do with him since I have nothing to display him in. His Worshipfulness is currently sitting on my sofa table. I have no desire to pack him back up again, at least not for now. Hoping the heavy cloth I have found to cover him with will be good enough for now.
WOW...THX Sideshow! The illustrious Jabba and his throne are truely amazing! I am in Star Wars heaven!:chew

I also want to add that these material possessions should come second to the things that truly matter in life like healthy relationships.

For sure... If we prioritize these aquisitions over whats really important we become dead souls. I thank Sideshow for releasing Jabba and the Endor Rebels because it was a huge wakeup call to me.. Almost like I realised it could become and addiction or something... la dee dee, dee dah.

This situation, like any in life all comes down to BALANCE. We can be insane collectors who spend loads on items that aren't that big a deal in the grand scheme of life, so long as we give the other more important aspects of our lives the attention, energy and passion that is due to them. The trick is a balance, that we don't become obsessed to a point where we are so addicted to these things that we get lost in a sense of happiness that is unreal, but rather enjoy them for what they are, but enjoy the greater things in life as they should be enjoyed. I've recently had some things going on in my life that have affected me deep down, and while I am probably one of the most amped people about this Jabba, and I will enjoy him greatly, there are things deep down that will not be healed by having him but can only be healed through true treasures of the lives we're given.

Addiction is a very dangerous road. I think all of us need to take a step back and analyze the situation every once in a while. Maulfan is correct when he says that it is all about balance. Get what makes you happy but don't destroy yourself and hurt the ones you love with your quest for material.

And what about your soul? Is it cold?
Is it straight from the mold, and ready to be sold?"

North Shore right? I envy that man:lol

I wish that I could see him play live but he rarely leaves Hawaii for concerts.
Yep right in front of Pipeline. He just finished a tour about a year ago and after Curious George he decided to take a break. He does plenty outside of Hawaii, he does do alot of charity ones in Hawaii though.

These pics of Jabba are just too much to bear...must have patience.

Wor-Gor, i'm glad you get these SSC items first.Your pics have calmed me time and time again from the dreaded SSC pics.

I'm sure others have thought about this but, i guess i'm the first to post.

Here is my repainted Hasbro Jawa with fan........Waiting for the Bossman.:D

I remember hearing him talk about just sitting on his porch watching all the surfers wreck themselves. I would love to live there. What a life that must be to wake up with the pipeline right outside your window every morning.

Next time that he is in Florida or any surrounding state, I will be there rain or shine. I have loved his music for a long time now, since Brushfire Fairytales.

Here are my Jabba Contributions. I tried to stick him on one Detolf but got too nervious that it'd tip over so I am using the box for right now until I nab a table esecially for Jabba...Easily my Favorite Star Wars piece right now...

Thanks! pics do not do this figure justice. The whole set up is amazing, I keep turning around to look at it. I can't believe I even considered not getting all the bells and whistles. I'm anxiously awaiting the next full "Diorama" piece from this line...
