I have 2 hopes for an SSC/HT Han in carbonite, I'd love both but I'll take 1 or the other.

1.) Working light panels on the carbonite block.
2.) Jabba's palace environment to mount the carbonite block to with a working overhead light.

That would be sweet, guess it would be suited statue market aswell not just 12 inch figures.

I am one that love diversity in the 1/6 line, always hoping to see anything other than the standard 12" figures.

I think the carbonite Han is a great idea. I've been debating for awhile just to pick up Hasbro's to work into my future Jabbo dio, and I'd be much happier with a Sideshow version.

hey Cryo, you should definately get the hasbro carbonite Han. I picked up mine about 3 months ago from ebay and it was pretty cheap, now i'm just waiting for my jabba's throne environment from sideshow which i sould get sometime next week because i just finished flexpaying it yesterday! anyway , dont hesitate on getting the hasbro carbonite, it looks pretty sweet........for a hasbro and will get the job done!

Absolutely get the Hasbro one if you find it for a good price. For what it is, it's fantastic, my want for a Sideshow one isn't so much from dissatisfaction with the Hasbro as it is to see how much further Sideshow could take the concept, like working lights and possibly a full environment to display it true to the film.

If only SideShow made a slave Leia. Although I think that's one case where I'd swap out the buck for an Otaku body to get rid of a few of those ominous seams and joints.

Seems aren't the problem, but the female Buck's inaccurrate shape and proportions are.

Seem showing body for a Slave Leia can look fine as long as the overall looks ok.

Well, the Otaku doesn't have a lot of poseability in the legs though and is very 'top heavy'. I'd probably try using a Cy Girl 2.0 body if I ever get around to making a slave Leia for my Jabba set.

I wonder, to solve the issue of ugly exposed joints.

Can we only have articulation at the shoulders while the rest of the arm and hand is one single piece of plastic. As for difference hand gestures we can have interchangeable arms detachable at the shoulder sockets.

I know thats not much of an action figure after that, But at least we have a nicer looking Leia.

I don't know if Sideshow would do it, but really, a fully sculpted Slave Leia with cloth skirt that sits on Jabba's throne posed essentially how I pose my custom would be just fine. I'm not really interested in a Slave Leia for any reason other than to add to Jabba's throne, so I don't need a poseable figure as long as a statuesque piece is posed correctly.

You mean you wouldn't want to have an articulated leia to wrap a chain around Jabba's neck MF?

I'll admit, the right articulated body I could get some cool photos from.

Lately, I'm trying to ignore photo possibilities and think of longterm use for my collectibles so I don't waste money. I've bought a few pieces with photos in mind and once that was done I was kinda regeretting the expense.

As far as Slave Leia, if someone made an articulated one where the body was as good as the one I'm using in my custom or better, great, but if it's Sideshow and it's sculpted statue piece or Buck female figure, I'll take sculpted, at least it'd look great and serve my most desired purpose, and I mean only Leia's body and metallica elements be sculpted, a real cloth skirt would make the piece feel more appropriate in the lineup of other Jabba based figures like Bib.

An option to hide the joints is having rubber sleeve over the arms, but I never trust rubber sleeve for its tendency to crack from aging.

Anyway I more interested in the creatures and aliens around Jabba's throne.

Yeah I would rather have Han in Carbonite first.
