Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I'd ditch the Simplz head and hope something better comes out

Exactly. Sensible words.

The head is too small for any 1/6 body - it doesn't matter which one you choose. It's only ever going to look acceptable in some photos from certain angles with certain clothing, so don't waste too much time looking for different bodies to try and compensate for a failed head sculpt. Futz the clothes if you can, then move on.

While the face is acceptable on this sculpt, the hair is pointy and just awful - fixing the hair would only make the sculpt look smaller, so at the end of the day, unless you plan to make your own 1/7 scale body, forget about it.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Yeah!So-i'l hope Bbkill will make big enough for 1/6.Is rhere any news about?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

It's so frustrating though,

Everything you want comes close, but it's never close enough, something is always off. The law of averages surely must dictate that for every bad one there has to be at least one good one. Haven't we had enough bad ones now!?

BBKill may deliver, but, he has to put his family first in these early years, they grow so fast...

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Hey we're did my post go lol. It just went missing prob in wrong thread, :D I was saying the toys city help out the simplz head, or else it wouldn't,t even look as good, it's not just undersized but bit wrong head shape for DC head shape , he,s more rounded face shape.:D just for now this is the best sculpt , but even I want a better one come out . Will bash out a serparate fig. :)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Oh, right,

You used a Toys City body, pretty much the same as TTL's. That explains a lot! I have the TTL Gestapo figure but I always thought it was a little on the small side.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Oops sorry roger no , I just used the cheap tt, it's like what pix is say copies of the tt narrow, but the new toy city suits it,s so well made and form fitting helped . If I used the pop toys suit it wasn't, as hot looking :D and I don't think would be as good , but there is a body for undersized sculpt if u guys really were dying to use for certain projects ,, haha the RM-x Enterbay,s lol but I wouldn't go there ,

Whoops!

It's possible then that some Simplz heads are cast better than others and may be different sizes. It's certainly something that smaller companies like them wouldn't keep so much of an eye on.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Sorry guys had to dash off , time difference .:) wanderer that's the toy city suit. Gido the second link that body is a really big body I have that, i got the body on the first link also, they are smaller . But the articulation is not good , and not really stand by them self. Also comes with sculpted neck or unsculpted, the one pic is sculpted neck that is tiny and will leave horrible gap around the head. Best not use either of these body, I just think the narrow tt is acceptable, just a tiny bit off scale. But inhand is really not so bad.:D

Mostly is my fault :lol the iPad pics are distorted , I know cause when I take the pics, some I just can tell straight away it's off. I tried looking for the less distorted pics , but some I just couldn't, make out which pic is which from the tiny up load pics :rotfl

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Here's my effort. I'm one of the worst futzers out there and just can't get the tie to fit right in the collar :/
It's on a standard TT using the HT Tony Stark suit. Obviously tried to catch the Quantum of Solace poster pose :)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

These older suits don't fit as snugly as the new toy city ones . But here u can see body with the head off and on my brothers production Bond . The narrow with a good suit looks slimmer , than the same body on the tony body , tony body also shorten feet , it has beet shoes that lower it, . My iPad pics horizontal pics gets squish looking sculpts and the diagonal gets stretched :D.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Is your narrow body with seperate neck or in one piece.Sorry, but could you make one unbattoned shirt pic?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

finally finished putting my craig bond together, he's made up of snyderman's skyfall head (with a slight hair resculpt to match casino), brothers production tuxedo jacket, bow tie, and pants, ssc p99, and hot toys phil coulson shirt (which i had to bleach white), and shoes.

pretty happy with the results.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

yeah snyderman's skyfall sculpt is pretty spot on especially in hand, not perfect mind you, but much better then the casino royale one he did. and it's a lot closer then most of the craig sculpts i've seen imo.
