Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I'm sure I missed this somewhere, but why hasn't Sideshow done a 1/6 Daniel Craig from either of his 007 movies yet? Is his likeness under a different license?

It is believed that they were doing one from Casino Royal and the sculpt was rejected. I don't know if Daniel nixed it or somebody else along the way.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

MGM has been notoriously pickey about the Bond likenesses which is great because even in SS's inferior incarnation a few years ago those likenesses and sculpts still hold up today.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I may be scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one, but I just discovered that Barbie -- yes, Barbie -- has been doing a line of Bond Girls. Most are whats to be expected, but I thought the new Solitaire wasn't so bad really. Might be nice to round out the few of us who have Moore and Tee Hee...

Replace the body, but the head, considering, kind of works, and the outfit represents.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I've seen the new Barbie _____ Galore in stores, not a bad figure. Wonder if Barbie will tackle Honey Ryder.

They actually did. The first wave was _____ Galore, Honey Ryder and Jinx. 2nd wave is Solitaire and Octopussy. Solitaire is the only one that works, because of the full dress and Jane Seymour's Barbie-like face.

:D

What took you so long to catch me?

I saw the thread bumped and thought I might see another cool kitbash from ya. And low and behold, you're justifying Barbies. :monkey4 :lol

I'm really surprised that with the success of the Craig movies, and the 3rd on the way, nobody's picking up this license.

Not sure. Maybe the majority of those who like the new Bond really don't collect the figures.

Also, the last movie had a pitiful villain and the only girl I remember was the sexy red head in her small part. So not much there beyond Bond himself to exploit.

If they could give us a really great villain and a really hot girl to compliment Craig's great Bond, then we'd have a really big Bond movie.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I have high hopes for the 3rd Craig Bond film. I also hope someone picks up the licence! Well, I say someone, I mean HT.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Well we all know Barbies have cooties...

But still that Honey Ryder outfit may look nice on a true type.

I was thinking the same thing. TT replacement for Honey and Solitaire. The only two i wouldn't mind having represented on my shelf. Hoping for a Barbara Bach from TSWLM.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Can somebody please pose pics of the Roger Moore Live and Let Die bond figure. Particularly the headsculpt. I used to own the Man with the "Golden gun version" and I found it pretty boring, but I really love the costume and how young Moore looks in this version. I would love to see if it has the likeness to boot.
