Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I might end up having to get both sculpts just to make sure I can fit it on a body with the suit I'd like to use. Arrrgh.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Which one body &suit you want to use?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

So am I.Without compare it maybe looks ok, but it's about blitzway-enterbuy size. But even with narrow knock-off head looks to small.Which tipe is ht jocker?I remember Chu used that body in first cast pics.

As far as I can remember, the HT Jokers were all on HT Narrows. I'm beginning to think that, if you want a properly scaled Bond, you'd either go for Inigou's head with a Narrow TT (or clone) or the DID body that Jack comes with (DID's standard body for all new figures.).

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I'm hardly looking for gray stripped(scotland)suit for bbkills skyfall, but for bigger body as Coulson...Have any ideas?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Which one body &suit you want to use?

I was initially hoping to use a new Hot Toys Regular TTM21 which I would shorten a tiny bit for scale. But I know that won't look right with the BBKill sculpt and it might not fit the Toys City suit I want to get (just a plain black single button suit). So I thought that I might then get away with a Narrow Shoulder knock-off to fit the suit - but I'm not sure that will scale well with the head either. But I'm pretty sure it will work with Inigou's head. In the meantime I've picked up a ZC World Gregory body which should be smaller than these others and maybe it will scale well to the BBKill head as well as fit the suit. Then of course there's the Coulson body which looks nice with the BBKill sculpt, would also probably fit the suit, but it's $70 everywhere I can find it right now.

Yeah, if you can afford to it's best to cover all bases.

If I do get my hands on both (BBKill hasn't replied to invoice request yet), I'd probably end up selling the one I don't use.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

If you used beets instead of shoes I don't see why you would need to shorten the body, they should do it for you. My HT Godfather is on an old Narrow and has beets and is significantly shorter than one with feet in shoes.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I think you can fix coulson´s body height buying some long ankle pegs. It will add some height and your bonds will look much better. Anyway, craig is not michael jordan... :lol

Maybe the Coulson body doesn't need height adjustment at all, Craig is 5'10". ;) I'm eagerly waiting to hear back on the measurement from Gido. Clark Greg, who played Coulson, is 5'9" but who knows if Hot Toys got the scale right for him too.

If I use a Narrow Shoulder knock-off I'm confident I can shorten it a tiny bit, at least so the Craig Bond is shorter than the Connery which is on the shelf right above.

I didn't realize you were looking for the "slim" zcwo body as a replacement for the Coulson. Those zcwo cop bodies are very short -- kind of like Robin to Batman. You will likely need long pegs AND regular feet-in-shoes to give it the added height you need.

I wasn't. I only brought that up now because of convenience/coincidence due to the apparent lack of height and width on the Coulson. The slim body style I was looking for is intended for some other customs I'm going to be working on. Non-character specific. My custom self-portraits for instance - only in sport/activity, I'm not getting custom sculpts done. ;)

So-Coulson body with bbkills head is 30,7 cm.Hope it helps.

Wow, that's much taller than I expected. Actually too tall for Craig. Which means… How tall are the other two figures in the photo? Wow! At least Eastwood is reported at 6'4" and should have a taller figure at around 32.2cm.

Ok I just saw your edit. Which is good news.

Oh...my fault-29,7!!!!

Wow, that's awesome then! Almost bang-on 1/6 scale of 5'10" - and your Eastwood is also very well scaled. So in answer of your other question, how to stop Craig looking like a boy? Maybe bulk him up a little with the padding and don't display him next to really tall characters like Dirty Harry. ;)
