Padding = filler. Yes, a padded suit, just like that one. Or you insert your own fabric/sponge/paper in the places you feel need it.

Absolutely. Let's do the math.

297mm x 6 = 1782mm or 1.782 meters which is Daniel Craig's reported height exactly.

Obviously we are ignoring the shoes versus no shoes argument here, but I think it's "close enough". Otherwise you could safely add an additional 4 or 5mm if you want to compensate for the shoes.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

29,7 is with Coulson shoes-shoes with pegs(no feet).

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

As fore me-head looks a bit to big for Coulson, but also to small for narrow. But I guess Coulson is better.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

See if you can add some bulk to the shoulders and upper body. That will make the head look more in scale. You can also try longer foot pegs or feet inside different shoes as mentioned by Roger. Try to get that additional 4-5mm of height.

I think it looks very good already of course.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Hmm, your calculations would definitely seem to indicate that the DID Jack, which is essentially what mine will be, is a bit on the tall side. I have my Christopher Lee Dracula on an RM-4.1 with the extended ankles and that, with shoes, gives the figure what I consider to be his correct scale height. (In real life he's 6' 5".) My DID body even without the head and very flat shoes was heading towards that height. Mind you, the old Connery Tux fits the body and he's surrounded by hobbits like Kiefer Sutherland, so, you may not notice it so much.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

What is best material to add some bulk upper body and shoulders?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I guess you could get a tight fitting 1/6 t-shirt and tape thin foam to it, how thin is up to you. On an old Die Hard Bash I did, I had some shoulder pads that came out of an old DML jacket. I taped them to the body so that the neck appeared shorter with a shirt on.

Here's my custom Quantum of Solace Craig, on a BBI bendy arm body. Under the shirt is a t-shirt that I stuffed with polyester batting from the craft store. Sorry for the dust, which shows so easily on black like "1/6" dandruff!

Yes, but I think they're rare because they're from a few years ago. Maybe only via figures that have been parted out too. Don't know for sure.
