Yeah not the best photos....super close,brightly lit and looking into the sky....never a good look for a sculpt

I hope so....i think the iris need to be painted a bit larger....youd be amazed at what that can do to a likeness

I'm glad you said that. It has everything to do with it. I've seen many a great sculpt made odd with tiny eyes. Some people seem to think that you need to see the entire circle no matter how squinted the eye lids.

Another comp with the ML sculpt. I have not altered the sculpt in any way apart from darken off the hair colour.
The sculpt appears to be good but I would prefer the Skyfall hair to help the overall likeness.

ML's first official pic release of the sculpt showed the detail up best. Their recent photos of the sculpt are not helping it at all with the sharp focus on the eyes, the odd angles and the blurring out of the other features such as the lines and ridges around the mouth - this is what makes Craig look like Craig. I imagine the sculpt in hand will look better than the Facebook pics. I'd be happy if the final product can emulate this comp even if it needs a repaint. Of course, if we ever see the Beastmaster version released we may not need to be having this discussion

If the painted price is the same as other unpainted, it's only a bit more work to first remove what's already there I suppose. And that's for the folks wanting a completely new paint app, as I'm sure some will just display it fresh out of the package.

How about an order and/or ship date? Do we know those yet?

Not yet- as folk have already noted their website is dreadful. I got the pics I've been posting off of their facebook page. Their Wolverine is still not out yet either but the price has been reduced...

It'll be done in due course, we have to give them time. I believe their current project is a Conan head in conjunction with Kaustic Plastik.
