The 1/6 will be handled by HT... they already announced the license. Can't imagine we won't see some 1/6 Na'Vi. The real question is if they'll do anything bigger... like say an AMP suit :huh

I just wish they got a really early headstart on some products instead of just announcing it during the movie premiering, like the regular toy companies, who have stuff out before the movie even hits!
At least in secret have had some stuff close to be released!
Now I have a feeling I'm going to be waiting a year for that Netyri PF lol That thing should have been ready to go for at least Feb or March release!
The timeline for some of this stuff is just a drag lol

Re: I saw AVATAR in 3D!

Dude you comment on everything i say. even on the shh site.

I am actually surprised to see your honest opinion of the film, you certainly were one of the more vocal supporters; but now after the release I think we pretty much agree on the strengths and weaknesses of the movie. :peace
surprised that there's such a thing as an objective fanboy? what do you know, i think LOTR is the better film. you were right after all. :peace

Agreed, the entire finale was incredible.
and one of the things i love about LOTR is the battles have a strategy to them. strategy is the skeletal structure onto which you can pile all your cool little action beats, thus making a battle scene feels grandeur and much more gratifying. it can make you feel like you're witnessing a chess play by two badass generals.

the battle in avatar makes me feel like i'm watching a scene devised by someone who has played way too many video games. it's a cool action moment here, a cool moment there, but there's no underlying overall plan to it all. it's all just duke them nuke them stuff till one side has got enough. and what's with the ground battle??? one second you see an army of horses charging in, and the next second it's gone without much playtime. how about some crazy maneuvers by the horse riders to get their shots in? how about them getting up on the trees and attacking the baddies from above? how about some air support for the ground troops? like i said, no strategy to it all. it's a battle, yes? even a pingpong player has to strategize if he seriously want to defeat his opponent.

i'm a huge fan of cameron's patented double climaxes. that's always the best moment in his films. avatar's climax fall short of what he did in previous films. to me.

They got a head start on the original Joker, and you saw how well that went.

And I'm pretty sure they're serious. :duh :duh :duh

After I watched Avatar at the first time, I trully felt depressed as I "wake" up in this world again.

So after few days, I went to cinema and watched it again for the second time to relieve the depression and hopeless feeling.

Now I listen to the soundtrack and share my views in this forum. It really helps.

:google ....

1 Titanic Par. $1.842 Billion
2 Avatar Fox $1.131 Billion
3 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King NL $1.119 Billion
4 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest BV $1.066 Billion
5 The Dark Knight WB $1.001 Billion

Amazing.

#2 boxoffice gross of all time after 17 days.

Let the backlash begin...

...or continue...

17 days to reach the billion dollars benchmark. it took a few more days to become no.2. nitpicking i know, but for such an omnipotent darklord i notice time and time again you're never one to check for facts. no wonder harry potter can give you a hard time.

yep, nitpicking.

still, someone has to bring it up. lest anyone here always assume the darklord's words as gospel. keep you on your toes as well, if for nothing else.
