Two different movies dude.
The game is NOT getting good reviews.

I didn't think it would. But now I'm kinda pissed that they hyped it up like it was special (even Cameron came up during E3 to talk about it for 15 minutes) and it's a piece of crap.
How often does a video game base off a upcoming movie ever succeed though? It is is not very often.
Ok. So I'm sure everyone here knows what this movie is about. I tried to read all the pages but there's 82 pages. So if I missed where this was discussed forgive me. But way back when the first trailer came out it was suppose to be the based on the cartoon series wasn't it? I saw the monk kid Aang on top of a pillar doing all these funky aerial moves. And now it's a movie will different creatures? When did the movie change?

Makes me wonder if the movie is crappy, too.
It's game-specific stuff that's messed up--bugs, combat is boring, overall it just isn't fun.
Even when playing the demo it was crap--there was a part where you fight a big beasty and he runs at you, but the hit detection is so bad I was like 5 feet away and he sent me flying---two hits and I was dead. That's just ridiculous.
Usually games based on movies suck--just because often time they are uninspired since the game is being forced, plus they often start the game less than a year from the release date which isn't enough time to do a good game---a movie might not be finalized until the month it comes out so games usually can't represent the movie.
The most expensive movie ever made !!
I remember when King Kong had the highest budget, now it's pretty much standard for a big movie to spend $200 million.
King Kong still has the record for highest number of effects shots though--something I don't think Avatar will beat.
got my tickets booked for the 18th for 3d imax with my mate.
Can't wait.
