Jazzinc 1/6 Batman 1989 Batmobile

I’ve been thinking of this constantly this last days…
I will follow the live event Friday. I know I should avoid the hyper hype around this.
But as a 89 diehard core fan, I already know I have to follow it.
I already own the HT one. Honestly I still think it is a great vehicle despite its flaws. The retail price was a great deal and was still delighted by this big boy.
But I know that when the Joost’s one will show the first pics, I will immediately focus on the inaccuracies of the HT and loose my interest for it.
But don’t get me wrong. It would be very unfair to compare a 2013, 550$ product with a 2023, 1500$ one. You just can’t.

I wish Jazz would let us get first in line like a secret preorder first opportunity for the forum maybe it’s a licensing thing?… I just hope the site holds up bc it started to crash when the Patmobile was put up with a numbered edition.

Don’t worry too much about the PO window.
The Friday event is just the kick start of the PO. It will be available during the prototyping phase.
You will get weeks and months to PO.
This is what I understood.

The PO will be open at the event for people who want a low signature number.

Signed number doesn't really entice me more to get ahead in line to preorder. The product should be the same regardless of 1 or 10000. That and space is an issue for me. I already have the BvS Batmobile and strongly considering The Batman Batmobile. This is one of the more, if not the most, iconic Batmobiles designed but I just don't know where to put it, let alone where to store the box.

Very iconic car, I remember seeing it in person at World of Wheels in the 90's. Liked it more than the Lamborghinis there.

No, it was just an event to officially launch the project. No prototype reveal or something. It’s still in the sculpting and prototyping phase.
But I can guarantee that it’s already a success.
Joost was blown away and was pretty shocked.
He had almost 500 PO in one hour…
Something tells me that the 1/12 version is almost guaranteed…

And it won’t surprise me if a HT reissue pic pops up in the next days…
