Well, I'll tell you this now.

I WANT ALL OF THE STUFF YOU'LL SCULPT :D :D :D

I'm sure the sword, scabbard, and vambrace (arm armour) will all look awesome.

This is sized for a 12 inch figure. I'll make a smaller one for my figure. It wasn't too tough to make, which is why I don't mind making 2 sizes. Hope you guys like it.

Great work Jessica. It´s incredible the care in the details you put in these things. A fully customized character of Link!!!Thanks for involved in this adventure.ç

Congrats, Rj:elf:elf

Wow! Jessica – You are awesome! Your talent is just oozing from every pore of your person. I have to ask, what’s the fascination with Link all of a sudden? Is there a story there? I thought you said you never played the game and didn’t know he was a kid. :angelsmil

Hey Jessica! Everything looks ab-so-lu-te-ly stellar so far!

question though, are you going to paint it yourself? :)

and another question: When will you ship these to me? :D ^_-

Angel, I have no fascination with Link except to make an exceptional one from scratch. And I've GOT to finish this project and follow through. I have too many unfinished projects, and I don't want this guy to end up in that pile. I am just focusing on him and in the meantime, getting practice creating stuff.

I am ready to work on the green top...found the perfect brown material... Can I use my Planet of the Apes green instead? Would it look goofy? Or...should I just dye the fabric? Decisions, decisions!! I will ponder this while I work out the kinks of the boots. I also re-sewed the sleeves and resewed the pants completely.

Gahhhh!! So much unfinished business!!! I want to re-do the wall--not very happy with how it is...

Yay me! I found perfect fabric for the green at the local thrift store so that I can start the green portion of the outfit. Still churning ideas about the boots but I think I have come up with a solution.

I'm going to cover the feet with plastic wrap, shape up a shoe-shape with some Ape-oxie on top of that...and then cover with leather which I will glue together. I'll just fake the stitching by doing a top stitch. I was trying to sew up the shaft, but I don't think I have enough leather...using the extra gloves I was cutting up from my Dr. Zaius gloves.

Also someone had a super cool idea about the shield--I can make the back separate, and mold/cast those separately...glue them together after it's cured. Don't have the right sized balsa, though...I need the thinnest ones they sell and by the time I remembered, I already passed the store and was too lazy to swing back around.

Here are the boots. Don't know how they will come out. The Apoxie was way too old...and started to separate...hopefully they will cure. I was tempted to give up and go back to sculpey. Check out his beautiful brown outfit. Those are made out of cashmere, they were my glove liners. Link will be warm and toasty.

I think the most important thing is the bottom part of the boots so that the leather has something solid to hold onto.
