I'll keep you posted, Angel!! Those boots look perfect. But you know me...I have to monkey with everything and try to make it. If I didn't think of using the cashmere glove liners, I would have knitted the brown outfit! Funny to know that the thumb part of the glove liner is where the sleeve now is.

OMG I love my Link!!

My first ever Mego-sized sculpt. I thought I would never get here, so everything has been 1:6 scale, but I guess it's just mind over matter...

Background chimp begins:

Next to Dr. Zaius for sizing purposes:

OK...he's not perfect, but that gives him character:

Aw crap! I forgot to add the straight edge on top of the shield...but no biggie. I'll just reconstruct it with clay before baking.

Also have to remove and resew a new set of sleeves for the green outfit. I didn't account for the seam to be shut and so have no extra fabric with what is sewn on there. I would start on the hat, but I want to sculpt something before I get to bed.

Thats realy great Jessica seeing your Mego-sized sculpt make's me think you should try to make a 1/6 chimp child.

I have to get my stadium scene (Mego scale since I don't have space for 1:6 scale)...accomplished sometime in my life! I need about 15 male chimps, 10 female chimps...and 30 gorillas...25 orangutans...

Here is chimp #2. He's supposed to be Cornelius, but he doesn't really look like him, so he can become another background chimp. Anyway, 13 more male chimps to go...

Hat is not complete yet...still needs the embroidery but I did stick a wire in there. I may add some fluff to the back of his head so the hat will sit better. It was just hard to imagine how it was going to go and it's better to build up than tear down.

I bought a 1:6 Viking sword and sheath, to see if I could augment with Apoxie, but it looks so "off" so I decided to cut my own sword out of balsa.

Here are the beginnings of the sword. I'm going to wrap the handle with very thin leather, which is why it's goofy looking now.
