Are all the exposed skin areas on the Harley statue made of silicone, though? I honestly don't know which is why I'm asking.Doesn't we see just as much exposed skin on their Harley statue? I'm not really understanding the need for this to be some extra special "platinum" statue.
Same here... guessing $3,000 - $3,500?
Where did you hear the silicone was better on this line? AFAIK they already use platinum silicone.Hope they're using real leather on the harness and anywhere else that warrants it. Given that it's called "platinum," there should be more than just some sort of special silicone that's supposedly better than what they're using for the regular line.
If I remember correctly, they mentioned it in one of the recent videos. They mentioned how they wanted to use a silicone that wouldn’t be so “squishy” for lack of a better term. This next part is my speculation-seeing how the bat on the Harley Quinn piece needed friction tape (or some kind of adhesive i believe) to hold it in her hand to keep it from falling, and this WW piece is holding her shield and sword (which are both probably heavier than HQ’s bat) they probably needed a silicone that was a bit more sturdy to avoid having to do that again. Or maybe they will be putting an armature in certain parts (like the hands) so they can hold the weapons better. With the pose they’re going for, gravity will really be working against them to pull the weapons out of the handsWhere did you hear the silicone was better on this line? AFAIK they already use platinum silicone.
That’s the painting technique I believe which they mentioned again in the latest Production Sample video for the Nolan Batman. The silicone starting with Nolan Batman is the new grade moving forward I thought they said. Or was that the painting technique that was mentioned?
