I think it was Mills that made a point of saying armies in the past have used elephants in war, Soviets used rats to bomb the Germans, etc. So even though that concept with dinos is kind of silly and out there, I think it's played a bit better here and they don't make it this big plot point like in previous film.
The whole dino auction thing had me worried from the trailers, and while the very idea itself may not always hit home, with the way it ends with the humans falling flat on their faces in death and carnage, oh so satisfying. I guess there's some silly concepts here that get rounded out by some very entertaining scenes? Maybe.
Goldblum, for what little screen time of him there was, had the most logical and important lines in the film that sheds light on man's ignorance.
