Same. They even showed some of the beginning in a tvspot

There's not too many surprises in the movie. A few here and there but you can easily piece together the movie from the trailers and TV spots.

There's one scene in the movie that I wish I could take about. Its not plot related but it was just one of those scenes I'll remember the most from this film.

So even thought marketing filled in a lot, there’s still plenty of suspense? That’s good to know.

Resident evil did that already

True. Just saying I'm not totally sold on the idea here. ;D

I think it was Mills that made a point of saying armies in the past have used elephants in war, Soviets used rats to bomb the Germans, etc. So even though that concept with dinos is kind of silly and out there, I think it's played a bit better here and they don't make it this big plot point like in previous film.

The whole dino auction thing had me worried from the trailers, and while the very idea itself may not always hit home, with the way it ends with the humans falling flat on their faces in death and carnage, oh so satisfying. I guess there's some silly concepts here that get rounded out by some very entertaining scenes? Maybe.

Goldblum, for what little screen time of him there was, had the most logical and important lines in the film that sheds light on man's ignorance.

Yeah the carnage from that auction was so much fun. I don't know... I just have mixed feelings about the auction. On one hand, the auction itself felt cliche but the resulting action from it was awesome.

Yeah Goldblum was delightfully Goldblum here. :D

I wish there was more of him.

Some good Rex scenes in the movie too.

Glad to hear, just got my Rex shirt in last night, ready to wear to the theater.

Is the lion shot in the movie or just ad fodder?

Pretty disappointing. It was often predictable and offered very little that was new. Generic, predicable bad guys met their ends in generic and predicable ways. Heroes are always saved by a Deus ex Machina dinosaur who can move as quietly as a ninja until it reveals itself. The volcano sequence stood out but that was it. The second half had a horror/stalker/slasher feel to it and lost the feeling of 'Jurassic Park' - instead, it just felt like a horror monster film.

The little girl was a clone? Really didn't like that.

The score felt really poor as well and I don't remember hearing much John Williams until the credits.

And Bryce Dallas Howard's character is a completely different person from the previous film.

Film six will be dinosaurs have wiped out half of the world? It will be a Mad Max with dinos.

That would be a pretty cool end to the trilogy to be honest. :D I can't see them going that big though unless
they are able to make thousands of dinosaurs in so little time given that only a handful of dinosaurs escaped into the wild and you would think they would all be captured very quickly.

And yeah the score is far away from the original as I've heard throughout the franchise. It fits the tone of the movie but I do miss the sound of the original JP, that sense of adventure and amazement.

I was thinking about how those handful of dinosaurs would be a real threat and not a mere nuisance. I just remembered that I think it was mentioned in the books that they also used DNA from those frogs that changed *** in the absence of the opposite ***. Maybe these dinosaurs would change too.

It's online for anyone who doesn't want to wait. Ok I guess, but I still like the original way better. Once was enough, I don't need to see it on the big screen.

I don’t understand the overwhelming merchandising for this . The film franchise as a whole is not that good . The last film was so mediocre other than the dinosaur effects. The characters were meh.

Hollywood is getting to greedy :lecture
