Dinosaurs will always be a thing. It’s just that studios haven’t been making media with them involved lately

Just saw it. It was entertaining and cheesy, but that's what I expected. It was fun, but not as much comedy as I expected.

I've watched the original twice in the last week or so - well, I stuck it on in the background while browsing. Anyway noticed a continuity error in the 'Shoooot harrr' scene - Muldoon's hat comes off and back on at least once during the struggle.

........that's all I have to say about that.

Took the kids to this earlier today. I absolutely loved the previous JW, saw it multiple times in the theater, and still enjoy it to this day. I'm shocked that "Fallen Kingdom" was the follow-up. It was a huge step down in pretty much every conceivable way. Even my kids came away saying that it "felt like there was too much going on and that the Indoraptor didn't even feel like the main villain."

I just have very little to say about this movie that's positive. The entire third act felt more "Night at the Museum" than anything from the JP series. For all the hype about the Indoraptor being a perfectly engineered killer it was one of the least threatening dinos in the entire series. A bummer because I was really looking forward to this one.

It took me a second and third viewing to warm to Jurassic World so if everyone else is saying this one is crap I assume I'll agree.

Indoraptor didn't feel like the main villain because, unlike I-rex, he had no real story purpose in the film. You could have cut him from the movie completely and it would have had very little to zero effect on the overall plot (if you want to call it that). He was basically just there so that we could have a good finale.

That being said, I actually like him a smidge more than I-rex because I felt more genuinely threatened by him (I-rex had small moments in JW1 where her threat didn't feel as genuine, such as her only using camouflage once throughout the entire film) and I thought his demise was better than I-rex's "mossasaurus ex machina" death. Still, JW1 is a masterpiece when compared to this film.

I actually enjoy Covenant and Prometheus. :lol

But I stay out of the threads.

I enjoy the way Ridley Scott serves Taco Bell on a silver platter.

Awesome analogy. :lol

Actually now that I think of it wasn't the main bad guy in Fallen Kingdom the same ***** in Prometheus who thought that the best way to interact with an alien cobra would be to stick his fingers in its mouth, lol.

I honestly can’t remember the characters from FK aside from Starlord and what’s her face and the kid. I keep thinking of Vince Vaughn when I try to go deeper. :lol

Saw this yesterday and enjoyed it. Be interesting to see where it goes from here.
