Re: Jurassic World

I feel sorry for people who didn't like the trailer. I have my Jurassic Park from 1993 which is perfect. I'm looking forwards to seeing another dinosaur next year that will hopefully be a worthy addition to the JP franchise. :)

Yeah, I'm still looking forward to it... I just assumed this was going to be very new/different - and I had to vent.:lol

I guess I'm fine with just thinking of it as another JP sequel and seeing how CGI has developed in the 14 years (!!!) since the last film to show some dino carnage.

Of course the teaser is underwhelming. It only showed what people would expect Dino's and chaos. Next trailer always gives us a better look into things.

Well, it does clearly set up what the story's about though - genetically create more intelligent animal, intelligent animal wreaks havoc... it's worked before in movies like "Dawn of POTA" and "Deep Blue Sea" (and that IS a shark they're feeding the Mosasaur.:lol)

Re: Jurassic World

Hmm... wonder what happened to the indigenous Brachiosaurs from JP1? Doesn't seem like Jurassic World without Jurassic animals too.

Re: Jurassic World

Oh and here is something that bugs me. The plot suggests people are tired of same dinos so they created a mix. However from a standpoint there's about 570 dinos species 700-900 estimated... I want the film and super excited. But for a fossil record like that you could host new exibits every year for 500 years if it 1 per year...

Even if they didn't get new dinos it doesn't make sense, I mean people still go to zoos to watch today's boring animals... :huh

Or disguised animal activists... ah **** that would have been a better plot for animals escaping in JW. Damn..

It's a social criticism of everyone wanting the newest, the latest and the greatest, that we can't take a step back and appreciate simplicity. It's a hackneyed cliché, but just about every hackneyed cliché has a tiny bit o' truth in it.

Re: Jurassic World

True, but sometimes scientists do things just for morbid curiosity :lol the creation of D-Rex doesn't need an over-elavotared explanation
