Don't understand the Whedon comment as he's persona non grata right now in town after his melt-down and complaints.

Colin is the new hero. Hollywood now looking for exciting first-timers, not well known television hacks who become overwhelmed with notes.

I guess I don't understand the logic that after a violent dinosaur movie smashed all family friendly superhero films that Hollywood will naturally make...even more family friendly superhero films. Jurassic World showed the bean counters that the entire world can handle a little more edge in their blockbusters.

What death was overlong and drawn out? The only death I thought was excessive was the military guy who had his blood splatter through the trees in the Irex scene, everything else seemed pretty tame in it's execution to me.
