Jurassic World (SPOILERS!)

I wanted to chime in. For the record, I made up the Jurassic World companion novel bit, in case that wasn't obvious. I can appreciate the points being thrown around though.

With that being said, I would like to retitle this thread: "Claire and her Amazing High Heels: A Thread about Jurassic World"

We're saying running in high heels is difficult, you want us to post videos of us proving it is? Okay

Avatar probably does deserve it, not from a movie point of view but from a business view. Cameron knows how to make and sell a movie that the whole world will all watch. No movie will ever touch the top 2.

I wonder if people wouldn't be so caught up in the heels issue if it wasn't so prominent.

Our introduction to her is a vertical shot heels to head, she gets another heels closeup as she gets off the helicopter, Monsieur Pratt calling them ridiculous, and another shot running from the Rex.

Maybe if they weren't shoved into our eyeballs people could focus on all the other mishaps, lol.

I don't remember Catwoman getting flack in TDKR or BR for heels. We even see her stunt double using flats for flips in BR, proving it's dangerous to be active in these things, but no one cares because it's a stylistic approach.

the one thing is though, it took Titanic a rerelease to hit 2 billion, I think it used to sit at 1.7 billion right? And there has been three films that have out grossed it's original domestic run. Who knows, maybe avengers will get a rerelease in 10 years and make another 600 million lol

Shocking- Furious 7- a piece of garbage... that high up- worldwide but domestic gross is not that great
JW will top Avengers and has a CHANCE to equal Titanic domestically. I doubt it though.

I used to look at the top spots as a kid and marvel that all my favs were up there... and all was right with the world. Then ET got to the top. And... well, ok, cute little guy, I can see the appeal... but then Home Alone got there... and I was like: WHAT!?

Nothing's been right since.

this is kind of disgusting. Two of Jame's Cameron's worst movies. a 7 sequel to a movie about car races, the worst movie in the Jurassic park franchise and a movie based on a kid's comic....

Some of you guys get really mad at movies making money. it was a fun movie about dinosaurs which we havent seen in awhile based on a nostalgic franchise. Damn next summer just dont go to the movies anymore, every yr when a big hit movies makes alot of money everyone is here gets upset and bashes it. Star wars no doubt will get alot of hate
