Jurassic World (SPOILERS!)

How does this movie keep making so much money? The plot was basic and predictable, the sub plots were laughable and the dinosaurs were nothing special.

both nostalgia and the fact that besides Age of Ultron and inside out, there were no good movies out this year so far for kids. i think young people were just very hungry for something fun like transformers

Don't get why people keep saying that the Bayformer kids are the reason for JW making the money it is. I've seen it twice with my mum and my aunties/uncles/grandparents have all seen it too. People like the movie and I'm sure positive word of mouth has played a big part in generating hype. It's a movie for all generations.

this movie had horrible writing but im glad it passed avengers, im very glad no one even talks about age of ultron anymore

Jeez people everytime a good movie does well it's not the kids fault. My sister and her friends whom are teens didn't care for this movie. In all honesty I think it's grown ups and young adults who love this movie.

My only explanation is people have been craving a Dino flick for yrs now and they got a good one. Godzilla didn't do it for people and King Kong was meh. So now Jurassic world delivered what we haven't gotten in awhile.

Yeah, Dinos never get old. However, I didn't appreciate how this movie was so patronizing to the movie audience, with the whole, "dinosaurs are boring, so we had to create a hybrid to make Jurassic World interesting" spiel. It was a lousy attempt of breaking the fourth wall, by assuming that the movie audience were just like the folks in the amusement park.

I saw this with my parents (just like back in 1993) and they hated it more than I did .

what was the f--ng point in making this then... i understand it was a jab at todays society obsessed with internet but then the movie did so well precisely because people are NOT tired of dinosaurs yet. if the movie was right in their critique of the audience the movie should have flopped
kind of a weird catch 22.

also another thing i hated was how little we saw of the park and the rides. they should have had at least 5 more minutes showing us the rides

i wish they showed more of the river adventure ride
