Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Yeah, he's been wrong more than he's been right, right? :lol

Has He I don't know I remember there was some big talk about the latino review said this or said that not sure if it is the same people.

Even if it was this story line they would still need to show how they revive superman which was a huge arch and I think it will be main story line to draw from

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Mr Fong must be doing another film- what a loss for JL

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Looking at this,

What we know so far...

Director: Zack Snyder (MOS, BvS)
Release Date: Thursday November 16, 2017
Writer: Chris Terrio (BvS)
Cinematography: Fabian Wagner (BARNEY THOMSON, VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN)

Cast:
Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Henry Cavill as Kal-El/Superman
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman
Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman
Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash
Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg
Amber Heard as Mera
JK Simmons as Commissioner Jim Gordon
Joe Morton as Dr. Silas Stone

WB needs to announce a villain soon.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Yeah, it's a surprise... Well, MoS didn't have Fong and still has gorgeous photography.

I actually prefer Mokri over Fong. Wish they'd gone back to him for BvS.

I am going to call it now it's Braniac masquerading as cyborg superman, apparently there is a rumor that it is Atlantis but that really should be reserved for the solo aquaman movie.

I am guessing they will use use parts of the superman returns comic arch with the 4 imposter supes, and incorporate it with Braniac story line. That the only story line that features superman resurrected

I guess Braniac is sort of like the silver surfer a harbinger of doom. Collecting subjects before Darkseid assimilates the population.

Guys, it's a Justice League origin movie. It's obvious why no villain has been cast--it's mother****ing Starro!

He just wanted/needed a little break. He went straight from BvS into Kong: Skull Island and would have had to immediately start Justice League. Not everyone has the freaky non-stop work ethic that Zack does. :lol

The cinematography will be fine. It'll look exactly the way Zack wants it to. He knows how to set up and light shots. He started as a Cinematographer himself, after all.

I would dig it. :rock

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Hum lord I hope neither of them ever see the light of day.

I am almost positive we are basically getting the animated DC movies brought to live action, so take a look at the previous animated movies and you can infer what to expect , either a cyborg or clone/ bizarre superman and the way Zack hinted that superman might not come back the same way point to at least one of these story lines if not both.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Mxyzptlk extra-dimensional shenanigans are way too high conscience to work for the mass audience when people are still struggling soooo hard with BvS.

I don't care for Starro, but Mxyzptlk could work in some hard sci-fi metaphysical Superman movie.

Or in a slapstick comedy. I'd like better to see the later than the former.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Grant Morrison written Superman movie, where he teams up with the Invisibles to address the concept of Mxyzptlk.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Abso****inglutely.

I would pick Nolan as director, since Morrison is the writer (And not his brother nor Goyer), cause we could get some Interstellar/Inception-esque extra-dimensional cinematography for this one.

I'd be down for Brainiac because I don't want INJUSTICE rushed. I'd rather they go full on INJUSTICE in Part II (where we arrive at the Knightmare sequence from BvS) and use Part I to bring Supes back, only to see him turn by the end of the film.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Director:
Zack Snyder (M0S, BvS)

Release Date:
November 16, 2017

Writer/Screenplay:
Chris Terrio (Argo)

Cinematography:
Fabian Wagner (Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Victor Frankenstein)

Cast:
Ben Affleck ---- Batman
Henry Cavill --- Kal-El
Gal Gadot ----- Diana Prince
Jason Momoa - Arthur Curry
Ezra Miller ---- Barry Allen
Ray Fisher ---- Victor Stone
Amber Heard -- Mera
JK Simmons --- Jim Gordon

Fixed.

Lois gets replaced by the transgender woman.
Wait, wasn't that's the case since M0S?

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

You left Joe Morton out. Snyder confirmed him for JLA.

Also, Wagner has only been a DP on two films - VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN & BARNEY THOMSON. His TV work is a bad reference because he only shot a few episodes if each show and they use multiple DPs.

Joe Morton blows. :monkey3

"His roles in the production of the television shows Sherlock and Game of Thrones
have earned him two Creative Arts Emmy Award nominations."

My bad. Yep...
