Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Guys, it's a Justice League origin movie. It's obvious why no villain has been cast--it's mother****ing Starro!

I like GL and Flash's thinking. Poke that mother ****er in the eye.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

I am not sure if these idiots want to give me a heart attack or what

Henry Cavill And Zack Snyder On Chances Of Another Standalone SUPERMAN Movie

They are debating if Superman should have a stand alone movie , DC WB how could you not milk these characters Iron Man and nearly every other movie character at marvel have multiple movies not including the shared time in what soon will be 4 avengers movies and civil war.

Milk it man milk it you have the two most Iconic characters in comic history this should not even be a question. I really hope their movie line up is flexible because as it stands now it's one movie per a franchise.

We are fast approaching that point in time when each studio will be producing at least 3 movies a year . I know marvel is constsntly changing there schedule I guess it's a matter of demand , but it's hard to belive that we will not get any Batman or other movies beyond what they already outlined

So, regarding Darkseid casting, who's on everyone's fancast?

I say give it to Bryan Cranston.

Lex & Gordon were always too on the nose for Cranston. Always thought he'd make a better Darkseid.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

I'd be down for Brainiac because I don't want INJUSTICE rushed. I'd rather they go full on INJUSTICE in Part II (where we arrive at the Knightmare sequence from BvS) and use Part I to bring Supes back, only to see him turn by the end of the film.

I don't think that INJUSTICE is going to happen. In B vs S, Flash traveled back farther in time than he intended to warn Bruce. I think that turn of events may just change future events and the INJUSTICE timeline/world will be voided.

INJUSTICE crap not gonna happen for sure.

I hope that JL starts with a bald Cranston walking through prison. We see him walking toward a cell and as the camera focuses on the cell in the distance we see Lex Jr. The guards open the cell and leave. Jr is stunned with disbelief. Cranston with a mighty backhand byotch slaps Jr so hard, his head bounces of the wall and cracks open on the prison floor when he falls. He starts to convulse (since he's such a twitchy fellow to begin with anyways) and bleeds out right at Cranston's feet. Cranston looks down at him and says.."you always were such a disappointment son"...and walks out. This would put a HUGE smile on my face.

I can't see Snyder shooting a scene with so much attention to detail and important world-building beats completely in 15/70 IMAX, and have it mean nothing.

As far as I'm concerned, that sequence was the stinger for JLA. Just inserted into the movie rather than saved for after the credits.

Do I think we'll arrive at INJUSTICE in JLA1? No. My guess is we'll arrive at that Knightmare sequence in JLA2.

The dream sequences were about the coming of Darkseid.

Yes, but they were also setup for what seems to be INJUSTICE. At some point in JLA1, Lois will die and Supes will lose his ****, blaming Batman for her death. The Knightmare sequence follows that, with Supes now a warlord for Darkseid finally apprehending Batman and telling him prior to killing him "She was my world".

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

It was a vision of the future that will NOT happen after Flash's warning.

Right now, the Knightmare future looks very likely.

If you don't want an INJUSTICE-based JLA film that's fine, bruh. Just looks like that's where they're headed.

This world doesn't come to pass since Flash goes back in time earlier than expected. Also, we've seen Supes get brainwashed in comics quite a few times. Hell, even a low level villain like Poison Ivy did it in the Hush storyline. You think Darkseid can't do it? What if Darkseid brainwashed Supes into believing Lois is dead because of Bats? We don't need the INJUSTICE storyline for any of that. Besides, the dream sequences did far more foretelling the arrival of Darkseid than showing the INJUSTICE world. The OMEGA symbol, the Parademons, the fire pits, and Lex Jr screaming about "he's coming". Those all point to Darkseid not INJUSTICE. I believe Lois is alive and she's going to be the key to breaking Darkseid's control over Supes somehow. Either way, the dream sequences do far more to signal the arrival of Darkseid than laying the groundwork for INJUSTICE IMO. Darkseid plays no role in the INJUSTICE story line anyway. That's why I don't think we'll be seeing it. Time will tell though.

The Knightmare sequence sets up both the coming of Darkseid and INJUSTICE.

They've taken INJUSTICE, where Superman rules Earth after Lois' death and added Darkseid to the equation. In other words, Supes won't be an enemy of Darkseid but rather an ally. Will Darkseid be responsible for Lois' death? Maybe. What's for certain is that he'll do it in a way where Batman gets the blame.

You're going to keep on riding the Injustice train, uh "bruh"? Nothing points towards Injustice, nothing at all. It points to an "evil Superman" story, but not Injustice. Have you even played the game/read the comics? In Injustice Superman keeps a tight grip to protect everyone and aligns himself with Sinestro, not Darkseid. He doesn't go around destroying cities, and some Leaguers even join him. He sets up his own JL, he's a leader and he acts more like a dictator rather than a power-hungry tyrant. He's evil, yes, but he has a noble goal. This Superman looks to be an unhinged and working for Darkseid. It's bad enough that you're basing all of this on a few minutes of footage, but don't go around spreading false information as if it's fact.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Yep. INJUSTICE is a redundant concept made for a mediocre video game.
DC has Crime Syndicate and Justice Lords, more then enough.

I have to agree. Both groups you mentioned would make great villains in future movies. You can add Injustice League as well. Hell, I'd rather see Darkseid, Despero, Brainiac, Anti-Monitor, Mongul, or Vandal Savage instead of INJUSTICE. However, that's just my personal preference on the subject.

I'm sorry but I don't see it that way. Do you really think Supes rules the earth with Darkseid? Not a chance. He's a brainwashed soldier for Darkseid. No way Darkseid allows anyone to rule with him. He rules and is Lord and master of all. That's what makes him Darkseid. Besides, where is Darkseid in the INJUSTICE game? Is he in it? If not, then I have to go with my gut instinct and say that Darkseid is the focal point of the JL movies and INJUSTICE does not come to pass. Again, I may be wrong. We'll have to wait and see.

No, Darkseid isn't in the game. I think he appears in a cutscene or in the comic, where he's torturing someone, but Darkseid has no role in the whole Saga. Injustice is a morality tale which revolves around a broken Superman. Evil Superman doesn't fit with the game, at all. If anything, Regime Supes would straight-up try to murder Darkseid in Injustice, not team-up with him. He alligned himself with Sinestro because they shared similar POVs. Darkseid is the ultimate evil, there's no way he can work in such a setting.
