Eh, I don't think so. I really liked him in both Magic Mike and Foxcather. He doesn't have the look, but he's not the worst choice ever. At least IMO. I'd rather a guy who can act, rather than just a guy who looks like a huge man-child. Shazam needs some acting chops.

Saying he's ok for Shazam is like saying he's ok for Spiderman, yeah I don't hate him, yeah he is fit, yeah he can act, but he isn't really Spiderman, or Shazam in this case, not even close.

But that's Tatum.
I think he's a better Shazam than Gambit. And out of all the DC characters that could appear in a future film, he's a way better fit for Shazam than any Lantern, Nightwing or another male superhero that could pop up.
I really hope he's gone to DC and we don't have to worry about him as Gambit.

He's literally a better fit for any Lantern, Nightwing or else (that doesn't mean he's a good fit).
