Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

100% yes, this needs to happen, it's the only way I'll ever watch this movie.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

You watched Magic Mike?

...Yes. I was on a Maconaughey high, give me a break! I watched Mud, Dallas Buyers Club, Interstellar, True Detective and Magic Mike within the week. Don't judge me!!!!11!!!

No no no, of all the choices that people have presented in this thread, he IS the worst of them.

I don't see how, but that's subjective. Oh, and you're opressing me for undermining my opinion, so check yo privillege!!11!

Saying he's ok for Shazam is like saying he's ok for Spiderman, yeah I don't hate him, yeah he is fit, yeah he can act, but he isn't really Spiderman, or Shazam in this case, not even close.

-Can act? Check.
-Well-Built? Check.
-Childish? Check.

I mean, what else do you need to be Shazam? I'm not a big fan of the character, so I'm genuinely curious.

If you're referring to John Cena you better take that back :lol because John Cena is the BEST choice for Shazam.

Bu-but I can't see Cena! I don't know how he even looks!

And stop starting off your posts with "eh" :lol

Eh, what can I say? I love me some "eh". It's from my father's side, as he has cousins in Canada, and he lived in Australia when he was a child. I guess it's contagious or somethin'. Eh, what's the problem anyway? It's harmless... Eh, I guess I could make an effort to tone it down... :monkey3

But that's Tatum.

I think he's a better Shazam than Gambit. And out of all the DC characters that could appear in a future film, he's a way better fit for Shazam than any Lantern, Nightwing or another male superhero that could pop up.

I really hope he's gone to DC and we don't have to worry about him as Gambit.

For me, he'd make a much better Shazam than Gambit. Gambit needs that...charm , you know? He doesn't need a buff pretty-boy, he needs someone who's a good-lookin' rascal.

I'm still stuck on this. :lol

Ask yourself that question and replace Shazam with Spiderman.

And he's not well built, not even close to play Shazam, Shazam can arguably be even bigger than Superman.

He has that doesn't he? Plus has the same body-type.

Hey, do you see Tatum as Superman?

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

We need to see a WW skinny dip scene in JL- you know the "Amazonian Well of Spirits"...wait is that where Thor was???

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

I'd still think Cena would be best, even if he is subpar at acting.

He is Young Justice Shazam to a T.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Right?

And I don't think he's that bad at acting, if anything he's just as good as Tatum.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Ask yourself that question and replace Shazam with Spiderman.

Spider-Man needs someone who can pass for both an average bloke and someone who can play the akward genius well. Tatum can't really do that. He's got that charming, "baby-face", but he's not right for Spider-Man, at all.

Look, I'm not saying he's the bestest choice ever for Shazam, just that he's not the worst. He doesn't look like comic-book Shazam, but then again, who does? Same goes for Namor. He has that weird, Caucasian face with Asian-like features. It's definitely an odd look, and one that will be hard to nail.

And he's not well built, not even close to play Shazam, Shazam can arguably be even bigger than Superman.

Well, yeah, he's no Rock, but with extensive training he could be.

He has that doesn't he? Plus has the same body-type.

Not exactly. Remy is that silmy bastard with a heart of gold. The guy who, if you saw in a dark alley, you'd be convinced he would either kill you for your cash, or just pat you on the back and leave. Tatum has that "old-school, pretty-boy" vibe going on, not that roguish charm. I really don't want him to play Gambit, truth be told. I just can't see him playing the rogue thief that well, he's just not made for that.

Hey, do you see Tatum as Superman?

Absolutely not.

Then why do you think he could play Shazam? It's the same scenario with other traits Tatum doesn't have to play Shazam.

Why would you think baby face is a good trait for Shazam? No.

But he is the worst.

Who does? Henry Cavil does, Ben Affleck does, even ****ing Jason Momoa looks like Peter David Aquaman.

Nah, man, Shazam deserves better.

Well, yeah, he's no Rock, but with extensive training he could be.
Man I hope Tatum gets to play Namor so you see how it feels.

Hell he looks more like Namor than he does Shazam.

Absolutely not.
Then why do you think he could play Shazam? He's basically the same archetype.

Plus Shazam is not dumb, he's a kid but not dumb, and he does NOT have a baby face.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

What? :rotfl You're actually implying Tatum looks more like Shazam, than that Cotrona dude like Superman???

Riddick, you're snorting vodka again.

I don't think he should, just that if he were to, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Why would you think baby face is a good trait for Shazam? No.

Mainly because Shazam is a 10 year old kid in the body of an adult. He doesn't need a baby-face per se, just someone who looks old, yet can act like a child if the script calls for it.

But he is the worst.

I don't think so. Agree to dissagree.

Who does? Henry Cavil does, Ben Affleck does, even ****ing Jason Momoa looks like Peter David Aquaman.

I meant who looks like Shazam specifically. The dude's got some weird facial features, depending on the artist.

Nah, man, Shazam deserves better.

Well, yeah, of course, I'm not campaigning for Tatum.

Man I hope Tatum gets to play Namor so you see how it feels.

You take that back!!!

Hell he looks more like Namor than he does Shazam.

141826.jpg

Eh, I don't see it. He looks like a random alien, not like Namor. Namor had some Asian-like features back in the day, but they got "erased" over time.

Well, Tatum could play that, he can act after all.

Totally different ballpark. Namor is an arrogant **** with his personal code of honour. He doesn't have a heart of gold or is even a good guy, he's a King.

Then why do you think he could play Shazam? He's basically the same archetype.

I don't see it. Shazam and Namor are waaaaay too different. Saying Tatum could, hypothetically, play (not successfully, just not awfully) Shazam, doesn't mean he could play Namor.

Plus Shazam is not dumb, he's a kid but not dumb, and he does NOT have a baby face.

Yeah, I know. But he is childish and pure, he's no hardened warrior.

Either way, I have no horse in this race. I don't care about Shazam and I don't adore Tatum. I just think he's better than people give him credit for, and that he could play Shazam. I'm not saying he's the best choice, or that he'd anil the role, just that it wouldn't be as bad as Shaq-as-Steel.

It would

And Peter Parker is just a awkward dude who's kinda smart, Tatum could play him.

I meant who looks like Shazam specifically.
CENA!

Same body type, same block ass jaw, same squinty eyes, just grown his hair a little longer and slick it back.

Cena is to Shazam what the Rock is to Black Adam.

You take that back!!!
It hurts! Doesn't it!

Eh, I don't see it. He looks like a random alien, not like Namor. Namor had some Asian-like features back in the day, but they got "erased" over time.
But he has spiky ears, just like Namor.

I know he doesn't look like him but that's what people sound like when saying he could play Shazam.

Totally different ballpark. Namor is an arrogant **** with his personal code of honour. He doesn't have a heart of gold or is even a good guy, he's a King.

No I mean Supes, Shazam and Supes are the same archetype.

And no man, saying Tatum could play Shazam is just like saying he could play Spiderman or Namor.

Man I'd rather Tyrese be a Green Lantern than have Shazam wasted on Tatum.
