When someone pitched that to WB they were like...

Not only was that scene nightmarish to look at but it was absolutely unnecessary and cringe worthy.
The kids were not funny or charming or anything, just annoying , their questions were stupid. It was fake manipulative emotional bulls.
Awful waste of money. F this movie

How come no one ever sees how awful those fake rubber abs on the suit....
They are just as bad as batnipples

Holy ****, drama much? How do you all do it? Page after page after page of vitriol and angst. Yea I complain sometimes to but sure as hell not to this extent. I can see why people stay out of the movie section. You have about the same 7 people playing armchair director complaining about most of the movies in the movie section. Some of you who complain the most show up in multiple areas on this forum. How do some of you make it through every day life when you complain so much about things that are supposed to be relaxing and fun. I don't get it.

That photo looks great. He looks great. I bet the suit looks better with Snyder lighting.

The BVS suit looked awful in normal/real lighting, but in the film it looks great.

Im not talking about the color bucky, im talking about those silly rubber abs.... wtf. Theres definitely some rubbery filling in those abs.

I may have to give the book a read.. I am strange when it comes to books.. I have read several multiple times and have quit halfway through on many more.. A book really has to grab me or I just give up.. Its why I have read some multiple times because at least I know I like those :lol

:lol

I hear you though but Philip K. D!ck books are very easy reads with a pretty cinematic style. I highly recommend them. His Minority Report story is 100 times better than the Spielberg flick. What's most amazing about his stories is how he came up with all of them before a single Ridley Scott, James Cameron or Paul Verhoeven movie ever existed.

The main thing that D!ck struggled with was coming up with cool names. "Blade Runner" is SUCH a cooler title than "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", lol. Also "replicants" sounds so much better than "andys" (short for androids.) You know it just occurred to me that "K" probably got his name from the author's middle initial, I never even thought of that until now.

You defiantly got a bit more out of this film then I did..

Dang it you were supposed to say "Wow Khev after reading your post I totally get how amazing this film is!" :lol

One thing about the original and how it relates to what you said about the book. "In one scene Deckard reflects on how terrified rogue replicants were of bounty hunters like him and he imagined what it'd be like if the tables were ever turned."

I use to watch the film when I was younger always viewing the replicants as the "bad guys" The Last few times I have watched it I view it more from their point of view and almost see Deckard as the Villain. I have much more empathy for the Replicants now then I ever did before.. Probably has something to do with my own increasing age...

Yes the novel does explore the morality of just offing living breathing people who simply want to live out their lives and be left alone. Obviously this came up in BR 2049 as well (moreso than the 1982 film apart from Deckard's feelings toward Rachael.) It gives the story a nice "I am Legend" vibe (the book, not the crappy movies that were based on it) with the human "hero" being the monster that the "monsters" are really afraid of.

Maaaan I so much want to see the original vision.

Me too. :monkey2 Heck, I'd even watch the original, complete version with tons of unfinished CGI.

I know there's petitions and stuff, but I'm doubting anything will come from it.
