I'm hoping we'll see Snyder's JL at some point.
While the theatrical version was perfectly adequate popcorn fun, I preferred Snyder's tone.

I just saw in the news that the World Health Organization is warning that JL has surpassed Alzheimers as the leading cause of cinematic memory loss.

I guess it’s worth a shot lol
But look at 82 The Thing.
Movie was hated on release as much as JL but now hailed as a misunderstood masterpiece.
But it’s not a different cut of the movie, it’s the same movie as originally released in 82.
The biggest question right now in geek land is WHAT WILL WB DO WITH THE DCEU!

You need to read or watch John Carpenter’s thoughts on it.
He solely blames that event as his career killer even though he went on to make more movies he feels he would’ve been treated much differently by the studios had The Thing found immediate critical success.
He doesn’t have anything nice to say about its rise to prominence other than too little too late thanks for nothing lol.
Yeah he’s still disgruntled.
Many series have bombed or fizzled out (especially by the third movie) so JL is not unique in that regard however it just might be the most *ironic* financial disaster in film history. Think about it, WB denied MOS a proper sequel and fast-tracked a team movie by shoehorning Batman and WW into Superman's next film all just to set up Justice League...which is on pace to earn less than MOS.
They killed the MOS series in order to earn less profits than MOS did in the first place. A cluster for the ages that will be studied for years to come.
