Damn. See that is crazy. When jl came out you had multiple videos talking about why it failed and now you have multiple vids talking about tlj it’s like the hate overtook it. Not even tumblr cares about the amount of hate SW got. It’s all about reylo. It’s funny how jl is being just looked over now when so many people were going in on it. No one even fanthomed the hate Star Wars would get . Now jl will be nothing but a little memory. Forgotten. While TLj will go down as a hated movie among fans

The narrative has already shifted on that now that enough people have realized how amiss the backlash was from a small portion of the fanbase. Recent google searches have been more about why its great, Rian putting haters in their place with that one Jedi Order book, etc. Just yesterday an awesome article was posted about how poignant TLJ makes the scene in TFA where Rey refuses to sell BB-8 to Unkar Plutt. If it's true that deep down she knew all along that her parents sold her for drinking money (possibly to Unkar himself) and she simply repressed it as a coping mechanism then that was a huge moment for her in saving someone else from her very same fate, even at the expense of feeding herself for months.

Justice League? Still an unmitigated disaster that might have retroactively tainted WW and has the entire DCEU reeling on how to change the upcoming films and players in front of and behind the camera.

I just looked at the competition that year. . .pretty pitiful. Mystic River? Master and Commander? Seasbiscuit?

Lost in Translation was a better film actually, but it was Jackson's turn to be rewarded for the trilogy.

Yeah LIT is a good little film ScarJo so hot in that lol

But LOTR are a modern Lawrence of Arabia and LIT was a quaint little cute love movie for lonely unhappy wives and husbands.

You know jye, I have an awful hard time believing you hate the PT as much as you say you do. I mean you use how bad episodes I and II are to justify TFA and TLJ as being (allegedly) "good" movies, yet you post memes based on episodes I and II often enough, so you have to like them to some extent. :dunno

I'm not defending episodes I or II of course, it just seems rather... odd.

To be bad movies they would first have to be actual movies they’re poorly animated cartoons with really horrible dialogue delivery.

ST are at least real films and i’m not even a huge fan of TFA i’ve grown to no longer be fully negative about it but I do prefer TLJ although the falcon escape in TFA is spectacular SW especially in 3D.

WW? Academy Awards? Don't make me laugh- too bad BR 2049 was snubbed and it deserved several big nominations

This 100X.

Murray and Coppola were ROBBED. I absolutely adore that movie.

Robbed, seriously?

A cute little movie about 2 unhappy souls finding happiness in a strange land while good pales in comparison to the drama, stakes and thrills in a 10 hour epic masterpiece.

lol so its ok if you blast justice league, every chance you get but then you label those that attack the last Magi as haters because they keep attacking the movie over and over again. You also said that when you dont like a movie you simply say that, you dont feel the need to needlessly trash the film over and over again or by posting stupid memes like the so called haters are doing to the last magi. Yet you've been doing this exact same thing in this thread since this movie came out, while at the same time defend every comment about the last jedi. I guess we are all supposed to do as you say not as you do. You are lucky there is no Kiev Justice league force projection in this thread to argue with you about every logical criticism you may have of this movie. Honestly the last Jedi is way worse then justice league, justice league was a salvage job that didnt get salvaged enough but it was still entertaining whereas the last jedi is an Unmitigated disaster, it literally destroyed star wars and any hope for episode 9. The only scene worth its salt in the entire 2.5 hour runtime is when luke meets R2 near the end.

I just found out this is still playing in our discount theatre. I’m going to enjoy seeing this movie again this weekend. I think my favorite scene is when Flash realizes Superman is fast enough to see him move. I’m hoping seeing it again will be the final push I need to pull the trigger on the last few JL figures I haven’t preordered yet.
