Still don't understand why WB cut two of Supes scenes with no cgi and added that monstrosity cgi cell phone clip.
Remember the reports about him working through JL for about a month despite her death?
Makes me question today’s news about him being fired, especially coming from a hot head who wants to leave his mark on the industry. I think WB’s statement last year was valid and this guy is looking for clout tokens.

They couldn't fire him as the contract is with his production company and his wife is a credited producer, so I don't know why this guy is claiming as such. From a production perspective, they asked for revisions which he provided along with his final cut. At that point WB declared his directorial obligations complete which allowed them to do what they wanted, i.e Whedon and the reshoots. And highly doubt Zack wanted to keep working after his daughter's death anyway.
It's still akin to how Whedon wormed his way into the Avengers gig. He went to the comics people who connected him to the studio, he offers to help punch up the script and then undermines the director's support with the producers. Did it to Favreau, did it to Zack.

This just has to be better than Suicide Squad... it just has to be.
As someone who somehow managed to sit through Suicide Squad twice
But you can't watch Grace?
I'd rather sit through the whole of BvS, Green Lantern, or any Bayformers movie before watching Mrs. Doubtfire.
So I just watched Justice League. Not sure what to think, honestly.
I've been hearing what a dumpster fire the film is for so long, that I had like...negative expectations regarding the film.
There was a lot I didn't like, which I'm sure has been discussed to death here; yet I felt strangely entertained afterwards. Liked it better than Suicide Squad, find it difficult to compare to BvS and MoS.
I think they tried to do too much too soon, maybe. And the CG let it down, much like SS.
But the nostalgia factor was heavy, watching Superman beat the crap out of bad guys.
It just feels like an episode of a show.
An ok mid season episode
