This just has to be better than Suicide Squad... it just has to be.

it is weird, they are both very different in style and direction, yet they are so similar in quality.
They dont have the same plot or anything, but they feel equally troubled. they have the same problems. the ending is equally bad

The difference being, when you watch Suicide Squad, you get the feeling its in the vein of a Michael Bay or Paul Anderson flick, so its shortcomings don't seem as in your face as something like JL.

Finished the movie a couple of days ago, didn't like it at all but was nowhere near as bad as BvS or SS. 3 things I didn't get though, if anyone would like to explain:

1) Was the Flash gay? (Not that I have anything against that, just asking).

2) What was the significance of the family trapped in their house? They keep showing scenes with them, only for the Flash to push their truck. Am I missing something here?

3) Why does everyone tosses Batman and Superman's real names out like it's nothing? Aquaman talks to Bruce about him being Batman in the village publicly, Batman calls "Alfred" in front of a goon, Lois yells "Clark" right in front of an escorting officer. I know Luthor knows who they are, but is that public knowledge in this universe?

1) the actor is.

2) Joss Whedon's way to making you care about the fate of that city where the bad guy was doing the bad stuff (they are added to make you feel a sense of tension)

they are also there for Aquaman to say "Because those people have nowhere else to go" implying thats what happened to the Atlantians as well after their falling out with humanity.

3) we can speculate that the people people in the Aquaman Village did not all speak english. We can also speculate they are not as technologically advanced as cities like Gotham (it looked like a small fishing village, not sure they were all carrying smartphones or cared who bruce was.

the cop was probably in shock after seeing Superman come back from the dead. the cop was pointing his gun and saw a bunch of weird humans in suits for the first time. hes probably freaking out from seeing Cyborg

Didn't knew that, I guess that's a good enough explanation. :lol

I thought the kids were gonna unleash some kind of superpowers or something. All that build up for nothing.

Even so, I'd probably get super pissed if I were Batman if someone tossed my name around like that. But then again, Bruce seems more comfortable approaching total strangers for help as Bruce Wayne for some reason. You'd think if Batman came to your doorstep for help it would be the best recruitment strategy ever. :lol

When Bruce went to Asia to steal no one cared who he was lol

The people in that village dont know hes a billionaire or from gotham, they dont speak english, they just see a stranger that came to talk to Aquaman.
they have no reason to either know about the Batman or even know who Bruce is lol

As for the russian kid,
I thought the joke was going to be that a Parademon was going to try to get in their house through the window and she was going to spray in the face and the Parademon would fly away screaming..... then his brother would smile at her bravery or something

but Joss Whedon is a hack so.....

Pretty much.
Plus SS was just them trying to make their GotG and about lame villains.
It's no freaking Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman/Aquaman movie that people were waiting for years...

'Justice League' storyboard reveals Darkseid
scene that was cut

https://batman-news.com/2018/02/14/justice-league-storyboard-darkseid-scene-cut/

Last summer we learned that Warner Bros. was changing the ending of Justice
League with their reshoots. The movie was originally supposed to end with a
cliffhanger featuring Darkseid, but all references of the villain were removed.

Now, thanks to Screen Rant, we have a storyboard drawn by Justice League
director Zack Snyder which shows that Darkseid was going to be in the movie. In
fact, it appears that this scene was shot, as spotted by eagle-eyed fans. In the
gallery below you can see Snyder’s original storyboard, followed by a version with
some frames from the very first Justice League trailer which seem to be part of this
scene.

This just has to be better than Suicide Squad... it just has to be.

I thought it was much better than Suicide Squad. There are a lot of things about the movie that frustrate me, especially now, seeing all of the scenes that were omitted and thinking about the version of the movie that
could have been. Still, I would rank it well above Suicide Squad. I would say it probably suffers from a lot of the same technical flaws, but I found Justice League to still be entertaining. I think the chemistry of the cast was good and that helped it a lot. Unfortunately, it does feel like a weird hybrid of two different directors’ visions. I can’t help but think that WB would have been better off to either stick with Zach Snyder’s version or to completely redo the movie, altogether.

I love the DC films with the exception of SS....but it's absolutely baffling who signed off the reshoots and the tache.
It's like DC are trying to shoot themselves in the foot...I mean the opening bloody scene. And these cut scenes should have been in the damn thing.
