I think Loki's power was influencing the Hulk. It wasn't full possession like Hawkeye, but he was affecting him somehow. When they're bringing Loki through the hallway and Banner looks up, Loki has that evil smirk on his face and Banner takes his glasses off as if he has a headache or something. I think this was supposed to show Loki's influence taking effect on Banner. The thing with the staff and Banner's confused look as if he didn't know why he was holding it also supports this in my opinion.

even in a justice league movie thread, people talk about Avengers.

Marvel > DC

I used this analogy in the Avengers thread I think, but it seemed similar to the way that Cap and Superman had their aggression and distrust heightened in the JLA/Avengers team-up.

Oh it obviously had some sort of "Council of Rivendell" One Ring goading effect but it wasn't outright possessing anyone. Otherwise Banner wouldn't have come to his senses and released the staff when it was called to his attention. If he was possessed he would have hulked out and attacked everyone then and there.

He was ticked, they all were, but he was still "himself." Unlike say Hawkeye.

Wrong. Loki's plan wasn't yet in effect, as Banner wasn't supposed to hulk out until after Hawkeye created the distraction. Think about it. Why would he suddenly hulk out after going over a guardrail when he didn't even do it getting punched in the face by the bullies in the soda factory? Also, there was zero incentive for him to attack Widow. That was Loki getting back at her for exposing Hulk as his key to escaping.

Despite the fact that the movie clearly spells out when someone is "possessed" (staff touches their heart, their eyes go black, they can't listen to reason, can only be dispelled by blunt trauma to the head, etc., none of which applied to the Hulk)...okay, if you say so nam. :lol

Interpret the movie however you want. I'm obviously not going to convince you otherwise.

The signs are clear

1. Loki's evil grin at Banner
2. His reveal to BW that his plan is to unleash Hulk upon them
3. Banner picking up the staff subconsciously
4. Banner revealing that he has full control over Hulk in the final battle (therefore him losing control on the carrier was pure Loki)

It's hard to see what everybody else saw when you're staring at your own colon from the inside. :huh

Batman villain JLA movie, filmed in Colonscope™.

I'm sure Khev's got room in there if you're offering to share his narrow perspective. :huh

Though your skills would be better utilized chastising the newb in the Spider-Man thread who seems to think that never in the history of film has a role that was cast against type been successful. :lol

Has he heard of Heah Ledger?

Feel free to offer the introduction. :lol I also used Bond as a comparison but he seems to think that despite the large library of successful novels by Ian Flemming (made even more popular by being JFK's favorite), people had no expectations of seeing an English gentleman in the role when it hit the big screen. :huh

The signs are clear

1. Loki's evil grin at Banner

Loki shot pretty much everyone in the movie an "evil grin" at some point, but only "possessed" people by touching his staff to their chest. Your argument demands that the film be internally inconsistent in which case you can't actually use any events to support your theory because by definition nothing would then be credible.

2. His reveal to BW that his plan is to unleash Hulk upon them

He never stated he was going to unleash the Hulk upon them, he stated that *they* brought the monster, ie "they" brought the uncontrollable beast that wreaks havoc not because he needs to be "possessed," but simply because he's a "monster" all by himself. All Loki had to do was rile people up enough for nature (in Banner) to take its course.

3. Banner picking up the staff subconsciously

During a scene when everyone in the room was acting out of character due to magical influences, yet were still not possessed.

4. Banner revealing that he has full control over Hulk in the final battle (therefore him losing control on the carrier was pure Loki)

Which of course was a lie. Loki's plan was simply to get Banner to "hulk out" in a giant pressurized metal container, which Banner himself recognized as being a real possibility before any hint of Loki's involvement ever manifested. The Avengers knew the danger, took a calculated risk, and paid the price.

I thought Loki was influencing him to lose control? I didn't think Hulk was possessed at all, just that Bruce lost control over him due to the tension and Loki's "magic".

Uhhhh anyway back to the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie.....

Who are the members we will see on screen? Will it just be Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern?
Will those five be it? I wouldn't mind seeing Green Arrow, Black Canary (yes please ;) or J'onn J'onzz as a six member.

The original pitch was "The Big 7" - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman & Martian Manhunter.

I wouldn't be shocked if that was still the original line up with maybe another female added to balance. WB is heavily pushing all of those listed instead of MM which people are assuming will be contained or held to the JL film similar to the way the Hawkeye was. Whether or not those individual films get off of the ground though before it all happens is another matter altogether.

I would love to see guys like Hawkman, the Atom, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Elongated Man, and maybe even Firestorm in the series at some point. But apart from maybe including Atom, I think those more peripheral members would be too much for a first film. Doing all the team members justice in a movie is not an easy task. The X-films criminally underplayed the importance of Cyclops, and the Avengers tried to spread the love around a bit, but still was too Stark centric in my opinion. Every extra character you add makes it that much more difficult to give the other characters the attention they really need.

Gee, why not throw Plastic Man into that list of lame heroes you wanna see too? :huh
