i dont care what anyone says this movie made me laugh

Mabey WB/Nolan want everyone to bask in this Final conclusion to the TDK legacy, and thats fine.

Honestly, im a huge DC fan but i dont want a Justice League movie or Batman Reboot in the pilpeline just yet. WB has alot to do before they get to that point. They have a whole mytholgoy they can explore with man of steel, and get the damn flash movie greenlight already.

I'm sure both of us posted about it at some stage, non of those reports included any direct quotes from Nolan though, just WB as far as I remember :dunno

This was unexpected. Especially since he usually puts himself in his films.

With Christopher Nolan declaring himself out of the running for JUSTICE LEAGUE, Warner Bros. has approached another of its go-to directors in Ben Affleck, who’s expected to discuss the project with studio brass in the coming days, multiple sources tell Variety's Jeff Sneider and Justin Kroll. Since guiding WB’s THE TOWN to commercial success and critical acclaim from both sides of the camera, Affleck has ascended high on the studio’s list of filmmakers who can be trusted with prime properties. Thus far, Affleck is the only candidate who’s been sent Will Beall’s JUSTICE LEAGUE script, which the GANGSTER SQUAD scribe was hired to write last summer.

Please don't be Ben Affleck. He has no respect for comic book heroes. He hated Daredevil and thought wearing a suit was embarrassing. I'd rather someone who respects the source material.

He has constantly said that he doesn't like the genre and that it wasn't fun so I'd imagine if he did it that he'd be doing it for a paycheck. It's an interesting turn of events.

The Town was a'aight, but nothing mind-blowing, or suggestive that he could take on a property like JLA and do it right. Gone Baby Gone was an even better movie, but again, nothing like what a JLA movie would be. Seems like a very odd choice. You never know, I guess.
